If the on-screen keyboard is good enough, then I don't see why you'd want a physical keyboard. Apple's is good enough and, therefore, I do not care about this.

Would Apple really do this though? The phone would be pretty bulky and would ruin the current iPhone's design.

The cover has a slide out keyboard? If it is an option and completely removable, that's fine. I won't be buying that cover. But if you like it, go ahead and buy it.

That's not a mockup; that's an actual case.

Slide out keyboards, or keyboards on devices of that size are just horrible, don't want one at all. The iPhone's on-screen keyboard is plenty capable; if they want something like this then should just have a second slide-out touch-screen that you can use as a keyboard, or for extra data or something, but that'd be overkill, so I vote neither.
