Personally, I can see this on the rumored iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S+ models:
1. Same size and physical form factor as the current models.
2. Case colors are white, Space Gray, Champagne Gold and the new pinkish Rose Gold colors.
3. Touchscreens now add Force Touch functionality, if Apple can produce it at reasonable cost.
4. New A9 system on a chip (SoC).
5. 2 GB internal RAM on 6S, 3GB internal RAM on 6S+.
6. 32, 64 and 128 GB flash memory storage.
7. CDMA, TD-SCDMA, GSM and LTE digital cellular radios.
8. 802.11b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi support at 2.4 and 5 GHz.
9. New, improved Touch ID sensor.
10. 1.2 megapixel front sensor and 8 megapixel rear sensor. Rear sensor now has optical image stabilization on all models and works far better in low-light situations.
11. NFC subsystem not only supports Apple Pay, but now prepaid NFC mobile payment systems such as the Osaifu-Keitai system used in Japan and the Olleh Touch system used in South Korea.
By the way, the new phones will still maintain Apple's Lightning connector. Apple will not switch to the USB Type C connector until the 2016 model iPhone.
