My iPhone 6's Touch ID works 98-99% of the time. Even when I've just climbed out of the pool after an hour of swimming.
I must have a bad sensor. I can put mine in and it works fine for a while and then it stops.

Really? You still want a 4" iphone? wow...
Many, many people still want a rugged 4 inch iPhone. Please, Apple, just take the 16GB iPhone 5s, add Touch ID, and switch over to the iPhone 5c cases (plus a black one, please). That's your iPhone 6c, and it should be introduced now, before the 6s models. Then, a year later, simply bump up the processor to A8 (underclocked a bit compared to the iPhone 6) to refresh the product, and you have the iPhone 6cs for April, 2016.
There's strong merit in having a mid-range iPhone "tock" about 7 or 8 months after the flagship iPhone "tick" in September, to keep iPhone momentum going throughout the year.
And how about an iPod touch 6th generation -- an iPhone 6c minus the cellular section?
Rose Gold with white front and accents and then the current Gold with black fronts and accents would be great. I like the gold color but hate the white face.
Apples touch ID works sometimes but really needs improvement.
If they make pink, presumably with a white front, I hope they switch gold to a black front. I like gold, but I don't want a white bezel around my screen.
Sure. Apple is breaking their profit records even in times nobody expected them to do so, but you figured out how they could do better (cannibalization by a mid range iPhone nobody really wants, good thing you aren't a decider in a big company..)Many, many people still want a rugged 4 inch iPhone. I'd argue that it is still not solved at all. At least not compared to what you get on an Iphone. A late Android model still feels slower than a 3GS.
I have a difficult time using my 6 with one hand. I liked being able to reach all the icons with my thumb. While stretching to reach corners on my 6 with one hand I've actually dropped the phone several times. I thought I had big hands too... I accept that a 4" phone is not what some people want, but there are people who want one still. I have an iPad, and a computer, so I don't use my phone 24/7 as my primary screen. Therefore a smaller screen that's easier to use one handed is more a priority for me then a larger screen.
I do like the speed and camera of my 6 though.
Pass. For two reasons:
Full disclosure: Only the second reason means anything. The first is total nonsense. For those currently carrying an iPhone 5S, and waiting anxiously for the 6S models to be released, I'm going to be so happy for you, and a little jealous for about 12 months until the iPhone 7 comes out in 2016.
- There's no way I'm upgrading from my iPhone 6 Plus just for force touch and a pink option.
- I upgrade every two years, and my iPhone 6 Plus will only be a year old.
No, the world is moving farther and farther away from the things you want. While you don't see it, you're like those people who insisted the iPhone needed a physical keyboard to compete.
Untill apple returns to 4inch phone thay wont get my money, period. I will be in market for 2 iphones this fall, if no 4 incher, me and my wife will have to stay on the old ones.
I'm also in that camp. I really want future gen iphones to have a 4 inch option. I believe that there is still a market for it...that there are still plenty of people, mostly women and small handed guys that want a smaller phone.
I don't think there are too many ladies that are interest in an iPhone less then 5" model since most of the ladies are using 5.5" 6+. I am afraid the 4" is history. Some guys may want a 4,7" version but only kids would use a 4" model.
yours must be broken -- on the 6 it works almost flawlessly every time.
No, they need more colours if anything. Purple/Orange/Black would be good as additions if they do a 6C, and the rose gold does look nice in the metals.
Like with the watch, its better if we don't all have the same looking phone.
