When apple was pushing for a return to office, many of the employees cited how productive they were and how much work they got done while working at home as reason to continue being allowed to work from home. Clearly with all of the bugs in the software, they weren't as productive as they claim.
Couple of points:
- Your conclusion cannot be correlated to the postulate
- Are you saying management was right to force a return to office?

Love watch unlock with masks - had been working great on my 12 Pro Max.

My only issue: why doesn’t it work for unlocking _apps_ too? If I go into the office (which I don’t do much) I have to wear a mask… which is fine other than the huge inconvenience of 1Password not opening automatically on my phone…

Is there a setting for this I missed somewhere?
One the days you go to the office, set 1Password to use a very simple PIN code. Problem solved.

masks are not required anymore, so why bother fixing this temporary fix.
Some places of business still require the use of a mask. And if something happens again, it would be good to have the function working as it should. Even if you aren't wearing a mask, the function still works if part of your face has been obscured by the scanner. It did that for me several times while at home yesterday.

Why does every Apple update take 18 days to install regardless of size of changes?
Why can’t it just be as fast as a reboot? They claim to have the fastest CPUs, yet windows updates have been crushing them in speed for years.

with a small thing like this, it could be a quick patch. But it won’t. It will still take 20+ minutes to install

IOS 15 probAbly one of the more polished Apple iOS versions.
Using Applewatch to unlock will most likely be fixed this week
Apple tech support said they’ve gotten ‘many’ complaints about this issue. So they are aware of it

Also, to unlock the iPhone with the Watch, WiFi has to be turned-on for the iPhone.

I’m not sure when it started but a nice feature now is the iPhone will unlock the Watch if I put it on and forget to enter the password.

As a software developer, I don’t really understand how this bug wasn’t caught. It affects everyone, no? I can understand bugs that get through that affect a percentage of the user base — but how was this not caught? Certainly there wasn’t a last minute untested change that they just lobbed out the day before. This is odd to me. The widget issue too… but I don’t think that affected everyone.

it’s not affecting everyone. I upgraded from iphone 11 pro max To 13 pro max and everything works fine With the unlocking on my Apple Watch.

i think honestly that I’m not the only one but you won’t hear a lot of people claiming that it works. People complain when its not working ;)

Affecting “some” IPhone 13 users or all??

I think they mean "some iPhone 13 users" - only the ones who have an Apple Watch. The rest are not affected.

😂🤣

All kidding aside, I don't think it impacts everyone. Primarily upgraders.

I went from a 12 Pro to 13 Pro.
