Refreshed MBPs to go along with the announced iPhone 5 and new iPod touches would be cool.
MacBook Pros were just updated not that long ago... there won't be any new models until Ivy Bridge most likely.

Would love to see Steve dance some Samba when inventing the iPhone 5 and Cloud iPhone.

Well, that's a long shot, he doesn't usually eat a supersized cheeseburguer with fries and coke while doing US launches.

Shame too, the MBP could use a better GPU in there. The CPUs are still top notch.
There is no better GPU to put in there. They are using the latest and hottest core they can cram in there with their current thickness, heatsink and fan configuration.
Last night I finally gave up on the battery of my 3GS (bought on launch day). I was getting maybe 3-4 hours. Truly dreadful.
Switched over to my wife's old 3G until the 5 comes out. It is much slower but the battery is still full this morning after 5 hours.
Probably - there's really nothing else you can do with it.The big announcement of the event is rumored to be a much-anticipated bump in storage from 2GB to 4GB for the Shuffle. Let's hope!
NOpe.I think iPhones will be released in Sept from now and may signal that Apple considers iPhone to have replaced the iPod. 2011 will probably be the death knell for iPod classic and possibly even the iPod Touch.
They couldn't bump up the low end GPU to the new one they are using the in Mini (6630M) at least?
Don't know if this was your intent, but that ridiculous Rebecca Black song started running through my head. Thanks.Sounds possible but they need more lead time to release the Iphone 5..
It will be October 7th...Friday...Friday...Iphone 5 day!
Why not? With flash storage getting cheaper and Apple ramping up iCloud, it's a good time to phase out the Classic. Who's the market for the Classic?NOpe.

There are plenty of others who disagree. Why not? With flash storage getting cheaper and Apple ramping up iCloud, it's a good time to phase out the Classic. Who's the market for the Classic?
I'm sure there are. Lots of people also disagreed with phasing out the hard drive in AppleTV, the plastic MacBook, the optical drive in the Mac Mini, and lots of other changes they've made over the years. This is just my opinion of what Apple will do, not whether everyone will be happy with it.There are plenty of others who disagree.

I never stated otherwise. Just making a prediction is all. Sorry if that offended you somehow.Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)
Exactly. OPINION. Which means Apple's probably differs from yours.![]()
