Many thanks. I’ve done that now. My Home Screen is once again ‘at peace’!There is a simple fix for this: turn on Beta Updates (iOS 18 Developer Beta) in Software Update. No more iOS 26 update badge.

Same, not happy at all with iOS 26 in my M4. It's a worse device now. I normally use solid black background and with the new shiny icons and transparency is really distracting.I wish I hadn’t updated to iPadOS 26 few days ago. Animations on iPad Pro M4 are much less smooth, they don’t seem 120 Hz.
Think it’s apple admitting hackers are getting better. Microsoft has been known to do that for windows. Is this apple admitting that LG is a mess
Hoping a 13 Mini user will report it when this is available.
In the meantime, I'm keeping mine silo'd off with my "can't be updated Profile".
🙏
It'a bit atrange.
12.8.5 is available for 6 Plus yet Original SE is excluded, although it was exactly 6 Plus in 5's body.
I don't see any logic here.
upd: Ah, yeah, got it. Originak SE could be updated to iOS 15 while 6 Plus coulndn't.
Remember the security vulnerabilities dominating Apple headlines in last two weeks or so and Apple urges people to update to latest iOS versions asap?how are those updates related to banking transactions? they aren't
iOS 15 app support at this stage is probably only marginally better than iOS 12, both of which probably can’t access App Store freely at this point.OG SE was 6S (A9/2GB), not 6 (A8/1GB).
Honestly though, OG SE performance would probably be a lot better if it was kept on 12. Downside is app support.
it didn’t happen, and they are not relatedRemember the security vulnerabilities dominating Apple headlines in last two weeks or so and Apple urges people to update to latest iOS versions asap?
Yeah, those updates are related to banking transactions.
It may have not happened to you, but it happened to me. So those two are related.it didn’t happen, and they are not related
no, it didn't happen to you. and it for sure wasn't "dominating Apple headlines in last two weeks"It may have not happened to you, but it happened to me. So those two are related.
You might have to scroll to the bottom of the screen (it is below the iOS 26 update).I have an iPhone SE3 on iOS 18.7.2 that keeps trying to get me to update to iOS 26.
I have auto updates turned off and I have not seen the iOS v18.7.7 update available when I manually check for updates.
Is it required to have auto updates enabled ?
I have no desire to enable auto updates and risk updating to iOS 26.
