Apple to Launch 'Low-Cost' MacBook Series Next Year to Rival Chromebooks

I just pulled an old MacBook Air mid 2011 off the retirement shelf to put ZorinOS (tryout) or Ubuntu on it. Has been reported to be a speed demon and likely better than a Chromebook.

If Apple wanted that market, they could do it. But I do think they are serious about the Edu market.
