Wait for June/July for new MBA??

I'm looking to buy a 13" MBA but I'm curious if it will be worth the wait for Sandy Bride in June/July? I'm a little anxious to buy and the B2S sale coming next week makes me even more excited to go and get one! Would the new MBAs with Sandy Bride be eligible for the B2S sale? Is it worth buying the Superdrive; I saw you can share from another Mac but installing MS Office? I've finally decided to switch from Windows to Mac and I could use some advice haha thanks!

Not sure if the MBA would qualify for B2S but the Sandy Bridge upgrade is well worth the wait.

As a current MAXED out 11" MBA owner, I can say that they are a great little laptop. Since I got mine I haven't used my MBP, and in fact am just about to sell it. I might sell my 11" now as well and buy a new 13" when they come out, MAXED out of course...

The MBA is finally reaching that sweet spot of maturity, power and price that is going to make it an increasingly appealing product.

I think it will now move from a fringe product to a mainstream one, probably taking people away from the MBP models over time. (Not everyone, obviously, but a fair percentage).

I know there's one that has my name on it, and my 2010 MBP will be going to my mother.

Mind if I ask why you'd ditch the 11.6" screen for the 13.3" MBA? I'm on the fence and still can't decide whether or not I should opt for the 11.6". Do you find it too small to look at for extended (4-6 hours) periods of time?

Apple should make a lighter (400 to 600 g) and smaller (7-inch) MacBook Air.

The only one they can if they use Sandy Bridge:
Intel HD Graphics 3000

Same that's in the 13" MacBook Pro.

I am pretty sure I have seen many shoddy 13in machines with intel(shudders) gpu paired with either a Nvidia or ATI gpu. If they can do with a 13in machine I am sure Apple could with the 13in Pro. Then again its not the gpu that holding it back but intel.

The only way I would get one is if they ditched the Intel shtick then add a 350nit matte screen(even as an option), firewire mini, and separated headphone and mic jack(not a biggie for me but would be nice), all these features on both models.

Mac mini please. Would be perfect to come out in time for the back to school promotion.

The Taiwan-based supply chain for Apple products will begin shipments of new.Based on history of Apple's taking deliveries, the order volume of new MacBook Air in the month of initial launch, June or July, will be considerably large.
