Get the free Apple Store app. Put the phone in your cart and scroll down a little to where it says "pick up store".

No one has successfully completed an in store pickup order yet, right?
 
guys i dont get it, so if i make an order online now, i can pick the iphone 5 at the store tomorrow?

likewise, orderd thru apple. cancelled at 9pm est, still not eligible. i cancelled another order the other day, same way, and was eligible within 10 minutes.. weird.
 
Can someone please check if there is availability in Albany NY? my computer is jacked I am on safe mode with networking and I do not have Ios5 to get the appstore app. PLEASE I beg someone I want this phone badly. If available, can someone please advise me on what to do in the next 10 minutes? Just follow the link and start from the beginning or should I keep the item in my cart as we speak? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEe

At some point you will have the option from your cart to either have the phone shipped or pick it up in a store. That option is not available yet. Maybe soon, maybe tomorrow.

Refresh the page with your cart. At some point the "Pick up" option will be enabled. Then you will be able to select that, complete the transaction and pick it up in the store the next day. That may or may not be tonight, or tomorrow or even later. It's supposed to be tonight.

My palms are sweaty. lol. I am on safe mode with networking. This is horrible but I don't want to miss this chance. Where is the next closest apple store near zip code 12208? Im willing to drive 50 miles.

Also in Downtown Albany,

Holyoke is ~84 miles, and is the closest. The one in CT is 120 miles away. Good luck
