If the new iPad mini has a 120Hz refresh rate, I'll buy it.
Otherwise, my iPhone Air is enough for me, its screen is already plenty big enough and he is 120Hz

Looking forward to see what will come as a some kind of replacement for us mini users?
Not in a hurry now 😀

My 13 min is still great, the only thing that can be a trouble was that my phone only has 128GB.
But I found out that what most took up space was YouTube cash.
Easiest is just to delete the YouTube app when it takes up to much GB, and reinstall it.
Now I have 77GB available of my 128GB.

Give me a small iPhone Flip Apple 🙏
Otherwise I’m all good with my Apple gears,
The rumored size of the fPhone (I'm going to keep calling it that, maybe it will catch on) is pretty close to the 13 Mini (I have one too) when it's folded. It's going to be ironic to replace a Mini with a Fold, but that might end up being a viable path...we'll see once they come out and we can compare them directly.

I'm really hoping that Apple has decided to take on home automation and do it right, and does produce a doorbell that's worth a damn. I'm pretty frustrated with the ones we have picked up, connection issues and one not working well through HomeKit just makes it frustrating...I don't want to subscribe to get package notification, thank you very much, and why can't it just stay online all the damn time? Sigh...if Apple makes a doorbell it's likely to be done right, and I'll definitely get one to try it out.

Even Gurman would answer that question with yes ...

I hope it won’t be like the M5 Pro and Max postponed from Fall to March.

I am trying to decide the RAM and SSD configuration of a temporary machine to be used between now and the release of the redesign.

Waiting see the new iMacs. Hope the colors will remain bright. Also eager to see the first foldable from Apple. Don't think I will get one if it lacks FaceID and telephoto lens. A bright red color for the Pro iPhone will be great and hopefully Apple will continue to have bright options like the Orange on the 17 Pro. Love my Orange 17 Pro Max. Also waiting to see cellular connectivity on MacBooks.
I really wish Apple would offer an iMac with an M5 Pro chip and more RAM in it… the way modern Mac Minis have always had the option for a Pro chip and up to 64 GB of RAM.

RIP the Mac Pro, long live the all-new Mac Pro Cube, featuring the all-new M5 Extreme...! ;^p

I'm going to upgrade my iPhone this year and I want a new Apple TV, my current one is getting slow. Also interested in the new iPad mini. I've really come to love that device.

I am down for a new Ultra 4. I will wait and see on some of the other stuff although I am not really interested in the fold, especially if it is $2400.

Apple branded home exercise equipment would be appreciated. If they don't want to do it all by themselves, then they should partner with other companies to co-brand it.
Why do you want an  on everything? There are companies doing this very cleverly for decades... It would look similar to the TV, HiFi and car projects to name a few. Apple came, tried and quietly left through the back door.

Why is the iPad mini still a thing, considering the iPhone Fold is coming out with the same form factor?
I want it so much, but I’m starting to lose hope.
Are you asking why they haven't discontinued a real and currently shipping product yet, in favor of something still not even officially announced? 😉

Now for my pessimist predictions:
No MacBook Ultra this year
Security cam and doorbell are canceled
iMac is discontinued
If the folding phone even launches this year, it is instantly sold out — super supply constrained
M5 Max throttles like hell in 14" and is about at thermal capacity in 16". Hell, even my M3 Max 14" throttles after a minute of running inferrence.

Ultra MBP would not work, you can't reinvent heat dissipation physics without making laptop 2x times thicker or something.

Ultra is for larger format computers, where you have thermal mass and space for fans.

I don't think they are referring to putting Ultra chips in the macbook Pro, but instead referencing the rumor that they might introduce a Macbook Ultra model name.

Apple is coming up with a doorbell. I'd bet a bunch that the doorbell is wireless. That same device could work with the ATV for FaceTime. Ok, not the exact same device but the same electronic design could support both a wireless doorbell camera and a FaceTime camera.

A wireless FaceTime camera is just a doorbell with no button and some way to attach it to a TV screen.

It doesn't have to be the apple logo on these products. But it could help if apple would design and market products in a better way to end users / consumers, especially families, where there may be disagreements about products where apple could address by their innovative marketing and product design + technical+design solutions.

Re: There are companies doing this very cleverly for decades

A - who? I'd like to see cardio products as popular as somewhere between apple watch and iPhone. As it stands, I believe they're much less so. Apple could help address any issues that hold families back from investing in cardio equipment like treadmills / walking pads.

Re: It would look similar to the TV, HiFi and car projects to name a few. Apple came, tried and quietly left through the back door.

Apple TV is pretty good. It led to apple TV plus which is nice. Apple hi-fi is kind of the precursor to homepod and homepod mini. The car project probably had something to do a little bit with the design of apple car play.

These products help the entire market not just apple. For example homepod helps create competition in smart speakers like amazon echo / alexa devices / sonos. Apple tv plus helps create competition for the plethora of streaming platforms to focus more on quality than quantity. Carplay helps create competition for Android Auto, Android Automotive, and proprietary infotainment systems.

So with regards to helping to create competition for cardio equipment, there's a few things off the top of my head that come to mind, and probably many more things that others can think of.

USBC ports on all cardio equipment ; it's time for usb A ports to make way for USBC which is faster and leads to better quality of life - as a person is exercising, they can juice up their mobile device and have a full battery after 30 minutes of exercise -its kind of like how most modern vehicles have usbC instead of usbA. Its a more versatile forward thinking port.

- handlebar screws on all walking pads. Many of the cheaper walking pads don't have handlebars. Problem is there's no standard screw mechanism. Apple could help push a standard line they did with magsafe that led to qi2 to improve product quality for everyone. So that even if a walking pad doesn't come *with* handlebars, the screw itself could be built into the front of all their cobranded products to push the entire industry toward that shape and design so all future walking pads would be compatible.

- remotes. Currently there's no standard with walking pad remotes. If a company has issues, you're SOL. Apple could standardize walking pad remotes or even allow siri remote to work.

Which then kinda leads back to how handlebars make more sense than not, because it's nice to have a "built in" display and buttons rather than a remote that could be potentially lost.

They can also help by marketing these types of things as just one part of an overall exercise regimen. By showing people exercising outside, at the gym, on the field, and then showing how when weather affects normal exercise, these devices give athletes and amateurs a leg up.

Apple watch and iPhone sync - when the device is turned on, watchos and ios should instantly recognize it and pop up with "xyz product found" and offer to sync workouts with apple health directly.
