Apple to Launch These 15+ New Products Later This Year

Every year people keep saying "touch screen" MacBooks and getting it wrong. There's no credibility to these rumors.
Surely if the is going to be a touch MacBook, macOS would need more touch accessibility. Apple have always said that the iPad is a touch first experience and that the Mac isn’t. If we see a touch MacBook this year, MacOS 27 would need some visual changes to make that possible. If it’s a snow leopard update I don’t see the new MacBook having touch. It just doesn’t make sense for Apple to do a windows and say “you can now touch it”
But how does this timeline look like then? A20 in September, M6 in October, and M6 Pro/Max in November? I really don't see that happening.

You might be right—reality is no one knows for sure. If there's one thing Apple has been historically it's unpredictable. Both a foldable phone and MacBook Ultra are non-standard products for Apple. Now's the time for patience, I guess. Just because we're only getting M5 Pro and M5 Max MBP products now gives us no reliable data on how it plays out for M6 Pro and M6 Max. May even come before M6 for all we know. By summer 2027 we'll know what has happened.
I expect if we don’t see a new Mac Mini at WWDC, it will become an M6 release in October.

Something that might be cool: combine an AppleTV with HomePod to make a soundbar for TVs. Include a webcam in it so you can FaceTime with it. Maybe allow meeting apps like Zoom, MS Teams or Google Meet.

So many comments everywhere about this new macbook ultra. So much excitement. If as they say it's going to be even more expensive than current already very expensive macbooks I'm definitely out.
If applecare+ for macbook pro is currenty 150/year, how much for ultra. No, I'm not excited at all about this new machine.

Oh, thanks for the correction.
My point still stands, probably - current MPBs are at thermal limits, Ultra MVP would be 2x size and weight, at that point you can just get Studio.

Yeah, I agree with what you were saying overall. The ultra just wouldn't work in the macbook pro as it is now for sure.

Agreed. Honestly, the entire "Home" section of this product list just made my eyes roll ALL the way around the room.
I have heard it all for what feels like 3 years. Face ID doorbells with locks, screens on robotic arms to control your lights and view cameras. And it's just annoying at this point. There has been what feels like ZERO movement in HomeKit for ages now, other than Matter accessory proliferation. I watch this space like a hawk because I'm a security system integrator in Home, and I'm exhausted with all the promises and teases. Home needs actual software smarts, like the ability to use a HomePod to announce when a person, package animal or package is detected.
I'm honestly not even sure it makes sense for apple to make the home accessories here, and with their commitment to Matter any home products likely wouldn't be Home exclusives.

Seeing the Mini and the iMac next to each other in the list really makes me think Apple should offer the same specs in both. I would have loved an iMac with a Pro chip and more RAM, but there's no way I was going to replace our 27" iMac with 128GB RAM with a 24" iMac with only 16GB RAM for photo editing.
