Despite their claims of diversity you can bet that as is typical, all presenters will have a Y chromosome.

As for the issue of rushing etc, I truly believe that that is the answer to the riddle of the Great White Box. In the past couple of years they split things up and so they basically filled up the empty space with multiple demos.

This year I think that they will not do a second event, everything is coming to light today. Sure not all of it will hit the shelves in the next week or two but we'll know what's coming and the blogs etc will be creaming themselves with article after article from now until the end of the year, enjoying all those page hits and all that ad money.

The Demos will be what is lacking during the keynote, not announcements. Media will go over to 'the box' where they can demo things live, perhaps even being allowed to record their playtime to post on their sites.

The only reason people are so hyped about Apple is because of Steve. The release of iOS8 and the leaks of the iPhone 6 and iWatch are mediocre at best in terms of design... but because of Steve, people are overlooking Apple's shortcomings since his death.

Why are we actually watching an Apple keynote, when you obviously have a device readily available that can look into people's minds to determine what everyone in the world is thinking. We should be watching your keynote instead!

Out of curiosity, is it possible that no cases have been leaked yet? I am a bit curious how cases will look like with the new curved design. In previous years, most leaks usually came from case manufacturers.

There is no reason they have to wait for an event. Truth is that a retina iMac really isn't a huge deal Certainly not huge enough to waste time during an event. They could just do a silent release.

That's the trouble, Apple doesn't shun the Y chromosome, it's the X that they do. There is not a single woman in a position of major importance in terms of the science. Sure they have a woman and I believe even a black woman (double quota) as the head of HR but where are the women designs, programmers, engineers at top levels. Apparently no where.

Actually for me, I am more concerned about Apple having enough 5.5 iPhone Plus's in stock to be able to fulfill all the orders as I heard there is only a limited number available for the bigger screen version. I know that may still be in the millions but who will be left hanging without the larger screen iPhone Plus?
