These are not my words. Got this from somewhere else but I couldn't have said it better myself
:
Nobody needs to watch this. Here's what will happen:
1) Apple will introduce some new widgets. They'll be well-integrated, attractive in an austere way, and priced toward the high end of the mass market.
2) Apple fans will say they're not as exciting as the first iPhone, but still great.
3) Android fans will say they're not as versatile or cool as Android-based widgets, which also are less expensive (but less well-integrated and uglier.)
4) Microsoft will say its widgets are better. Nobody will care.
5) Samsung will release a series of cleverly snarky ads saying Apple users are lame and all the cool, young, sexually attractive people use Samsung. Cnet will cover each of these ads in an excruciatingly-detailed blog post by Chris Whatshisname.
6) An analyst will post that Apple has lost the old magic and Cook just doesn't have the ability to generate life-changing products the way Steve did. Apple stock will drop and the analyst will make money on his short play.
7) Some geek will cobble together a gizmo with roughly the same functionality out of two Raspberry Pis and the display out of an old Gameboy, and publish a how-to on the Adafruit Learning System.
8) People will buy Apple's new widget, it will become a small but appreciated enhancement to their lives, and Apple will make money.
There. Skip the coverage and go have a nice lunch instead.
