These are not my words. Got this from somewhere else but I couldn't have said it better myself :D:

Nobody needs to watch this. Here's what will happen:

1) Apple will introduce some new widgets. They'll be well-integrated, attractive in an austere way, and priced toward the high end of the mass market.

2) Apple fans will say they're not as exciting as the first iPhone, but still great.

3) Android fans will say they're not as versatile or cool as Android-based widgets, which also are less expensive (but less well-integrated and uglier.)

4) Microsoft will say its widgets are better. Nobody will care.

5) Samsung will release a series of cleverly snarky ads saying Apple users are lame and all the cool, young, sexually attractive people use Samsung. Cnet will cover each of these ads in an excruciatingly-detailed blog post by Chris Whatshisname.

6) An analyst will post that Apple has lost the old magic and Cook just doesn't have the ability to generate life-changing products the way Steve did. Apple stock will drop and the analyst will make money on his short play.

7) Some geek will cobble together a gizmo with roughly the same functionality out of two Raspberry Pis and the display out of an old Gameboy, and publish a how-to on the Adafruit Learning System.

8) People will buy Apple's new widget, it will become a small but appreciated enhancement to their lives, and Apple will make money.

There. Skip the coverage and go have a nice lunch instead.

:D You made my day!:apple:

I had to borrow my wife's iPhone to watch this. In terms of pitching their new phone(s) to people like me (Note 3 owner) I find it stupid to do this. But on the other hand everybody and their brother would bring the video servers to it's knees.

I feel like we're missing the action, even right now. What ever happened to the white building at the Flint Center? Is it still just completely white? No signs were ever put up? Whats going on there now? Are there no webcams?

There's an AppleSIG in London that rents out a small movie theater
for every Apple Event® and projects the event on the screen for the SIG's members.
A grand time is had by all!

Man up and go get a woman.

One time, right, I was with this girl, right?
Well, she doesn't live here, right: she lives in Canada.
So one time, right, she stole money from her Mom's purse and we bought drugs and we took marijuana.

Here's why you can't have news on the building:

I don't get the big deal about watching a live stream (for the average person). Every tech site will have live blogs with photos. And replay video of the event will probably be available same day.

How can people dare say "I don't want to watch this keynote, we already know everything", I wish I could tell them there's something we don't know but sadly, I can't prove it because I don't know it!

Because most people fail to understand that the importance of the event is not WHAT is announced, but HOW it is developed and used.
Computers/tablet/phones/(smart)watches; apple didn't invent any of these. However it's their development the interesting part, especially knowing that they'd rather wait than shipping an awful product (*).

(*) not saying that they never failed. They failed quite a bit.

The fact that the dude is wiping obviously means that you have to wipe the sapphire display of the iwatch. Look, his body is even positioned at 1:30.

Be cool to watch on AppleTV but I think I'll sit here at my PC so I can watch the forum mayhem. :)
