Apple to re-release the Black MacBook?

I guess it's possible, but I doubt it, personally. They are getting away from the Poly-Carbonite. The only reason they are nursing it along is to keep a "cheap" notebook in the lineup (MHO). 
If they rebrand the unibodies as MacBook Pros, then maybe. I think that's the only way it'd happen.
There's a rumor that they'll do just that, and introduce a new line of plastic MacBooks.

Sounds like a step backwards but interesting in conjunction with the rebrand rumor nonetheless.
Wouldn't work with their new environment schemes though would it? Aren't the aluMacbooks supposed to be more environmentally friendly?

I'm beginning to think the blackbook was another one of those short lived "novelty" products that Apple introduces from time to time. (i.e. The Cube) I think it would be great if I was proved wrong, but I don't see the Blackbook coming back.
Well, they need to knock this "short term" crap off then. A blackbook battery costs twice as much just because it's "black".
If the blackbook does come back though... I hope they make the magsafe and other peripherals black as well. White accessories look really stupid on this thing IMO.
Perhaps... I mean, they just updated the WhiteBook meaning they do have plans for those. Why not give the consumer choice back of black or white?

Love it. The introduction of a black aluminum macbook would be one of the only things that could possibly move me to sell my current model (which I am very much in love with)
