You can have a shared reminder list already. What am I missing with your complaint?

I had no idea you could do that, because it's not obvious and built-into the iOS interface. There's another mystery.

I just figured out how to do it on iCloud, thanks to your reply though. Thanks! I'm hoping that they integrate it better into iOS (not unlike iCal) in iOS6.

I don't know if it's already possible or not but Apple needs to steal a feature that Google introduced recently through it's google drive.

You can upload a large file to google drive and then email a link to others, allowing them to download only the files you've given them access to. It's incredibly useful for sharing large files, movies, albums, all without the need for a flash drive or external storage.

It makes the cloud incredibly useful but since I already have 25GBs of iCloud space I'm not going to pay for additional google drive space but it would make iCloud immeasurably more useful if I were able to use it in the same manner that I can use google drive.

There is no notion of "file" in iOS World which makes it very unlikely that iCloud will ever have the feature that you described.

iCloud is a separate entity from OS X or iOS. File sharing is planned.

iCloud is targeted first and foremost towards mobile devices (which do not support a concept of file). Your knowledge of Apple plans is impressive. Any links would be appreciated.

Why is it so hard for people to see that Apple is having the same problem with everything the have ever created ? They are creating iCloud within its own little universe in an attempt to lock users in. I LOVE iCloud because it syncs my devices' contacts and calendars without me having to think about it.

BUT, until Apple opens and unlocks all the data on their devices (I am thinking about movies I have uploaded to my iPad for example) and allows FULL access to it, I'll stick with dropbox.

Why would I use apples proprietary photosharing if I manage my photos with Lightroom and post them to Zenfolio where ANYONE can see them ? Apple has and will always try to remain a closed environment that they have control over. I love their hardware and some of their operating system ideas, ... but data sharing is NOT their area of expertise.

Bring back and Photo Gallery type app.

It is nice to post photos and have a place to link them to, right now you need web storage in order to link them, unless you want to post your stuff on a third party storage site (which I am not interested in doing)
