From $699 to $1500. The $829 for the top of the line iPad is a bargain!

Ah the good old days. Flew to MW Boston to buy one thanks to a ridiculously cheap USAir college student fare. Couldn't find one that wasn't pre-sold for the life of me and was about to go back home empty handed but at the last possible moment before I had to leave for the airport the CompUSA kiosk got a shipment in right under my nose. It was like my geek-guardian angel guided me to the kiosk. I was so excited.
Sadly I felt compelled to return it about a week later to the local CUSA because it wasn't ready for prime time. The $700 price tag was too much to wish and hope updates to improve the hand recognition would come out sooner rather than later.

That's pretty cool. I wanted one way back then but somehow never got one. I do have a Zoomer, though....!
