According to this survey, it seems the WinPC model does lead to more unsatisfied customers. Not sure where your info comes from.
Yes but it doesn't have the poll of who do you think...before you have an issue...has worse support.

Most people expect bad support from any WinPC (can't use WinTel anymore..:) ). So that is already there. Also most PC people probably haven't owned a MAC...taking a guess but I bet I am right. Also just like I have always said...if someone hates a product well enough and someone asks you, "Can I get your opinion on XYZ product?", if you hate them you damn well believe they are going to hear about it.

Also you are not comparing market share and who is on the other end of the phone. MAC users will never complain about support...even if it is bad. We get that at my company. People with a busted MAC don't complain. People with a busted PC complain they didn't get a MAC. ;)

I don't know many MAC users who aren't crazy in love with a MAC and consistently bash PC's...but I have to work with them so maybe I only see the crazies.

Just in case someone wants to know...just got another MAC...iMac for the wife...$300 off open box via the BB coupon. MC309LL I believe. Going to RTF tonight and see if it works. It will be sitting beside her Dell XPS...which is 4 years old and works fine...just old.
 
You clearly have no concept of the complete cost of manufacturing in the U.S. and also seem to be unaware that the quality of case materials Apple uses, and the designs it employs are of an order of magnitude higher than what budget PC makers use.

So the case costs apple $10 instead of $5. The guts inside are all PC parts. OLD PC parts usually.

It's not a poll, and its not about directly about support.

Again, you don't understand the methodology of this survey, and you continue to stereotype Mac users.
