Has anyone had their iPhone trade-in via mail processed yet? I had shipped my iPhone and it showed arrived and inspection status on the 26th.
Apple App says 3 business days and today is end of the 4th biz day and nothing.

I’m wondering if it’s just me or others are seeing same thing?

They were able to process my iphone upgrade in two days, but my wife's phone that I traded-in has yet to be processed.

I have never done the upgrade trade in until this year and it went smooth. Took 3 days and the app says the trade in is completed and the account closed.

today will be 7 days for me, and start of 5 business days since inspection stage.

yesterday I messaged with Apple support and got there run around. The fact is the app says 3 business days for the inspection process to be finished.

tomorrow will be my 14 day return grace period. If they come back next week saying they don’t like my phones condition, and I ask for phone back. I would want to return my new iPhone 11.

I wonder how this will be handled.

They just approved our returns. I sent 2 phones back monday evening. They got them wednesday and less than 12 hours later they were approved.

Was this on the iPhone upgrade program, or just a trade in to get the allowance on a new phone? I did the trade in allowance and am not on the upgrade program. My trade ins went to Elk Grove CA and they've had them for two days now.

Wondering what the turnaround will be based on feedback on these forums, with some saying several days to others like you with a fast turnaround.

This is the IUP.

We traded in 3 iPhones and all of them are still at the inspecting your device stage. I was told that phones on the IUP get priority since there is a loan attached to them. So my bet is they are backlogged at the moment with the new release. One of our iPhones has been at this stage for 6 days now.

Now end of 6th biz day and still at inspection stage for both phones.

not impressed, 1st time using Apple trade in service. I have been using att next for past 3 years and had not had any issues. I opted not to do it this year since att is now imposing 5$ a month for the next service.

Just got confirmation for my refund which may take 5 days to show up and part of it may be on an Apple gift card.

Cancelled our loans the same day they received the phones. Was actually quite impressive.
But yours was the under the upgrade program. The ones that are taking so long are the trade-ins.

I sure hope I do not get any gift cards. We purchased 2 unlocked iPhones 11 Pros and paid the full amount up front. It would be nice to get the full trade-in amount credited back to my card.

I was expecting the same sort of timeframe of waiting but that wasn't at all the case. I'm on the iUP and dropped my old XS off at FedEx on Tuesday morning. Tracking showed it arrived at Elk Grove and was signed for at 12:31pm today. Later in the afternoon at I log into my Apple account and see "You're all done - Your trade-in is complete, and the associated loan has been closed." I was thinking maybe four days, not four hours.

Don’t say 3 days if it cannot be fulfilled. I’ve been waiting 5 days now which is not what they said even allowing for a grace period

i just sent 2 iphones back for the upgrade program and one I am doing a trade in on. I will drop that off today to fedex

You got a long way to go buddy. Us folks who have gotten theirs delivered 9/25-9/26 from our launch day deliveries still haven’t gotten our updates/credits yet.

I don’t know why you’re giving me attitude. This is what this thread is all about. I was just giving the current status of my situation.
