As jettredmont pointed out, this "new" technology can be used for negative purposes. I can see competitors or mailicous "customers" hanging around products they want to sabatoge and trash that product. It could backfire on Apple. Amazon has almost driven me off with their obtrusiveness and don't need it from Apple. Some go on the Internet to create their own world not have one forced on them. The Internet world seems to be composed of two types of people...the Gmail world and the non-Gmail world. The Gmail people just don't understand what all the fuss is about.

eWorld again...

...am I the only one who remembers eWorld? Apple has done this before and there were products for sale back then. (too many hours in the marketplace)

I'm pretty sure you'll have two Apple Stores.

The Apple Store and the Apple Interactive Store.

Go ahead, pick your poison.

Just be sure to pick up extra firewire.

Can see that more than anything and 2 months later the interactive store shuts down

Wow, just don't see the need for such a total waste of computing and time. Give me 3D views of the stuff I want to buy, let me hear it, smell it, maybe even create some sort of touch but even before all that it needs to be safe, fast, reliable and non-intrusive. I buy online because it tends to be quicker and easier to compare. I don't want to be bumping in to other people and don't see a need to have an avitar of myself or some store helper.

I will admit I could be wrong on this but really just don't see this being like the next new iPhone or iTunes.
