Gen 4 ATV here. Use YouTube daily. No issues. :apple:
Same. I guess someday it will be our turn, but I have a feeling I’ll be upgrading before than. I have a 4K TV now so I’m ready to upgrade. I just don’t know if Apple will be ready this year to release Gen 6 because of COVID-19.

I'm also having this issue with my apple tv 3 so sad especially at this time we are indoors anyway i can switch to roku if you solve this by end of this week

Well, I spent a couple hours watching a number of things on YouTube last night on my Apple TV3, just to see what would happen. Did not experience any problems. Fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night to see that the AppleTV was automatically installing a software update. No idea what the purpose of the update was, everything looked the same afterwards.

OK, let’s just keep buying new streaming boxes every 5 years and throwing the old ones in the trash. Great.

Or just forget Apple TV altogether and get an Amazon Fire Stick for a fraction of the cost.

(still have my 2nd gen ATV and will use that once I get into a new place and can set everything up properly - at this point, all it'll be used for is streaming movies/other content I already have on my computer)

"An error occurred loading this content. Try again later." is NOT a Youtube issue.. It's a Apple TV issue.

You get it from iTunes as well in Movies app. It's more common with 3rd gen than it is with 4th....(...and that when connection is working..)

If you come out, then go back in it's ok. Intermittent things are not service related in all cases. Can also be firmware which is where i always put it down to.

But anyting that 'changes' on a service's end will always "come first" and shadow the actual reason behind it

Brand new Apple TV 4K 6 GB 2 months old - YouTube titles seem to overlap. I have tried restarting, reseting, deleting and reinstalling YouTube, completely wiping the Apple TV and setting up again - still the same issue. Apple also said talk to YouTube/google but seems like a dead end there. This is at my moms house, I have 3 ATV’s at my house with no issues.
