Even if you bring it back to an Apple Store they won't refund your shipping cost?

well shipping is a service. Once the service has been completed, nothing can be recouped. Fedex won't be eating the cost. Apple won't be eating the cost.

In other words, if you have a store near you, might as well not order online since you can just go to the store the same day you would have got it. If you don't have a store nearby, I understand doing the overnight

I actually did this last night after reading about someone else doing it. Mine is the same as yours. Tomorrow by 10:30 AM and shipping from Rialto.

I searched UPS with my phone number and postal code and this result came. I hope i get appletv on friday as wanna play with appletv over the weekend.

Mine says the same. I'm in the GTA, Apple shows PFS, UPS doesn't show a tracking number. Let's hope we get the ATV Friday.

I'm at the point that my estimate delivery date of next friday is accurate (Similar to my last Apple shipment a couple weeks ago). Apple may ship it tonight, but it doesn't mean that UPS will be nice and deliver it ASAP.

My label has been created and it will be delivered tomorrow by 10:30AM! Apparently the Apple TV 4 is already in California (Rialto to be more specific). I hope yours is the same! Let me know what yours says!

I called two Monday and they either didn't know, or said it was possible. I tried two out of the other seven stores on Tuesday and couldn't get through. So I gave up.

I'm getting desperate. On a dutch forum people see shipment e-mails since 2.30 PM, but not for me. Still in "preparing for shipment".

That's what I mean, any Apple product sitting in Harrisburg that is shipping to zone 1 outside of Harrisburg is not going to move at all until EOD today.

My delivery date is for next week I did 2 day shipping

Didn't you read the front page. It's been confirm. Tomorrow you'll be able to walk in and purchase one.

you paid the money for the GUARANTEE that the device would get to you tomorrow. Those with standard shipping didn't have that guarantee. You can't expect them to ship something priority and then because others get it on the same day ask them to comp the cost. UPS/Fedex still had to be paid extra for that service.

Definitely wasn't a guarantee, as it gave a range of Oct. 30 to Nov 3rd.

Those of you who have a shipping label in the FedEx system (using the track by reference method), but did NOT pay for expedited shipping, what does it say next to "Service" under the "shipment facts" section on the FedEx page?

No. That is not even a little bit true. Everyone that purchased the Apple TV early enough online with expedited shipping was quoted a delivery range of Oct 30 - Nov 3. At most, you guaranteed yourself delivery by Tuesday Nov. 3rd.

I had to...

1. Select "Mail Innovations."
2. Enter my 10-digit phone number with no spaces/dashes/etc.
3. Enter my zip code like this though: "xxxxx-xxxx" (with the dash and four digits at the end)

I also narrowed down the Ship Date Range until I found the supposed ship date: 10/26/2015. Interesting...

Isn't mail innovations when UPS transfers the package to the post office to be delivered? I find it strange Apple would use this service.

Yes, that's right. I paid for the $17 shipping, so maybe Apple is using UPS Mail Innovations for the expedited shipping and FedEx for the standard shipping?

I would love for Apple to use FedEx in Canada as a barrel of monkeys can do a better job than UPS in terms of getting your packages quick.
