Hi all,You do not have to power-cycle the Bravia. It also works for me via re-listing all CEC devices (Settings > External Inputs > Bravia Sync devices > Enable-button)
![]()
Then wait a minute or so (CEC is a slow bus - 500bps only!).
I agree, that it must be a combination of both Bravia and aTV.
Why on earth does aTV lose it's address?
Why does this not happen for sony-branded devices (I have UBP-X800, BDP-S470 and STR-DN1080 connected - CEC works properly /including screen name/ for all of them)?
Last week I tried a 3rd brand new ATV 4K with my setup (TV Sony KDL-HX920 / AVR Sony STR-DN840), updated tvOS to the last version, and went to the TV HDMI setting to list the connected devices.
I'm not sure if the culprit is the latest version of tvOS or the additional steps I did on my TV, but I'm happy to report that this 3rd ATV 4K is finally behaving as did the ATV 4th gen!
I can switch on/off all 3 devices (ATV / TV / AVR) using the Siri remote, no more connection lost.
