new TV's have it integrated into the TV. I think it's days are numbered. with all the apps TV's come with there is almost no need for a separate add on box. With all those apps on third party devices they maybe don't plan to bring out an updated Apple TV device.
Buying one now seems like a bad deal because the current generation is already more than 3 years old and the price didn't really drop since the release.

As well as movies you’ve purchasedIt allows you to watch Apple TV+ content.
yes, but at some point you're going to buy a new TV along with everyone else who has an older TV. Nice 4K TV's are dirt cheap and as people replace older TV's there won't be a need for a separate box..there is when people own older tvs which do not support Apple TV.
I have a 4K Samsung tv (2017) which doesn't support it so for me, the only way to get my Apple content to the tv is with a physical Apple TV box.
Really? Thats impressive if true. It’s rumoured the PS5 will be HomeKit compatible in the future.
Yep. You can watch iTunes content you purchased. I was also able to rent and buy movies via the app on Xbox.

People with newer Tvs still buy Roku, fire tv and Apple tvsyes, but at some point you're going to buy a new TV along with everyone else who has an older TV. Nice 4K TV's are dirt cheap and as people replace older TV's there won't be a need for a separate box

The AppleTV+ app is a streaming service with original content and access to other streaming services on a unified platform. Kind of like Amazon Prime, but Apple’s version.I’m slightly embarrassed, but what does the Apple TV app do?

Is it on the Xbox at all?
Yep. I have it on my Xbox One S and Xbox Series X.Is it on the Xbox at all?
Are you sure about that? I have an LG C8 and, while they took their time - the Apple TV app became available about a month or two back. This is great news. Got a 12 month trial with the new iPhone 12 but my LG OLED 4K is too antiquated for the native app, as it's a 2018 model. (If you can believe that). This is far better than forking out for another box or stick.
Just installed it works a treat.
