Apple is today hosting the first of three "Fan Experience" events to celebrate the second season of the hit Apple TV+ show "Ted Lasso" (via The Drum).

"The Believe Fan Experience" is a themed tailgate event centred around Ted Lasso. Fans of the show are invited to get their hands on official merchandise, take a ride on the double-decker "Believe Bus," play games such as soccer darts and participate in contests, watch freestyle soccer performers, and take photos with themed installations.

There will be free food, including Ted Lasso biscuits from the show, prizes, and a live DJ. The first 10,000 arrivals will receive a free "Believe" rally towel.

The first event is being held today at the Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles, between 4PM and 6PM. The Believe Fan Experience will also be available in Santa Monica on August 7 and Downtown Los Angeles on August 8.

I want a rally towel. Too bad I don't live in Ca anymore.
Used to get cool Apple freebies like TShirts and mousepads when they sponsored a race car.

There are places Apple should not go IMO. Of course my opinion doesn't mean much when the company is a profits rocket ship. But they will never reach the level of original media content like Amazon, Netflix and other premium channels. Between the Billie Eilish and Ted Lasso push, I get nauseated. But until they start losing money, which apparently will not be in my lifetime, they will bring their hyperbole to whatever media content or product that suits them at the moment.

And considering they are a ‘profit rocket ship’, I’m inclined to believe they know what they’re doing…

Lol nice, yeah I got their Emmy voter package which was nice, Ted Lasso Lunch Box, Ted Lasso Coffee Cup, Tea Packets, and some biscuits. :D

Dead horse: please, no more! I can’t take it. No more beating! I submit! I’ll take a free Apple TV subscription. Yes another one even though I cancelled the one year free trial after a month. Just stop with Ted Lasso. Please.

I'm interested to see where this series of Ted Lasso is going - the first series was (as far as I can remember) the sort of thing I could generally sit down and watch with my kids.... having just watched S02E02 I think there might have been some awkward questions, like "Daddy, what's Roy doing to Keeley?" and the "w" word. Are Americans even familiar with that word?

Season 1 had plenty of that

The fact that Apple wants me to watch this show so bad stops me from watching it same reason I haven't seen Star Wars yet id rather live in the hype then watch them and experience the letdown.
I'll save you some time, episodes IV - VI, and then the Mandalorian. If you're hooked then, watch the Clone Wars series, and then maybe episodes I - III. 😉

Oh and Hardware Wars if you can find it...

Roy uses the F word every 4th word. Not very kid friendly.

In season 1, there was a scene where Keeley went down on Jamie. The same thing as the Roy going down on Keeley thing. Plus there was a Keeley masturbation scene.

Americans don't use the word wanker, and most have no clue what it means.
