Hating positive publicity for a show they haven't seen is pretty silly, and smacks of a certainty born out of ignorance.I don't see any hate for the actual show on here - just the growing hype that's being generated around it.

They are going to milk to death the only thing watchable on Apple TV+.. Apple is by far the most out of touch with what consumers want with Film, TV and Video Games. I remember an early Apple quote saying they wanted to make media for anyone from 7 to 70, which is like saying they are going to make media that nobody likes....There are places Apple should not go IMO. Of course my opinion doesn't mean much when the company is a profits rocket ship. But they will never reach the level of original media content like Amazon, Netflix and other premium channels. Between the Billie Eilish and Ted Lasso push, I get nauseated. But until they start losing money, which apparently will not be in my lifetime, they will bring their hyperbole to whatever media content or product that suits them at the moment.

Sometimes a show the masses think is really good is actually a really good show.Okay Ted Lasso has officially gone from a very good sitcom to a Scientology style cult.
Time to pump the brakes.
errr its based in England why isn't the event based in Richmond, yes it is a real place![]()

People have been locked up for a year and a half. The character is lovable. It’s not a Scientology style cult (which is a ridiculous comparison). It’s happiness. Let people have their fun/ don’t engage if you don’t want to. It should make the world happy if people feel happier from a work of art.
Got Me, Helpsters?🤣🤣🤣 if that’s the case what is all the content my family have been… watching (and greatly enjoying!) since Apple TV+ launched?
Got Me, Helpsters?
It's rated TVMA for a reason. It's not a kids show despite the mostly family-friendly feel.I'm interested to see where this series of Ted Lasso is going - the first series was (as far as I can remember) the sort of thing I could generally sit down and watch with my kids.... having just watched S02E02 I think there might have been some awkward questions, like "Daddy, what's Roy doing to Keeley?" and the "w" word. Are Americans even familiar with that word?
Correct! Football is what they call the game in the UK … i think because the ball is advanced with the foot to drive the game, to score (use of head allowed too but not hands), to defend. And the ball is actually round which 99.99% of all objects in sports named “ball” areSOCCER ? what's that... FOOTBALL is the name of the game, not SOCCER
None of the Apple TV+ shows were created by Apple. Ted Lasso was produced by Warner Bros. Television Studios, which I'm pretty sure has created many other television shows.Anyone else feel icky about being a super fan to a television show from a computer company?
Totally understand this, me even having opened up to what the show Ted Lasso is (took about three episodes to understand and get in the mood and realm of it) also get annoyed by how much Apple force-shoves content to our faces. Not only that, the tone and vibe of their ads and banners sometimes smell of high horse morals (which in reality the shows aren’t that much really, at least the ones I have watched). Can definitely see people developing rejection because of it.There are places Apple should not go IMO. Of course my opinion doesn't mean much when the company is a profits rocket ship. Spot on with you on both accounts. Took me a while to get in to Lasso and even longer for Mythic Quest, but glad that I did give both a continued chance. I think part of my hesitation to watch was from Apple trying to force it down my throat. It wasn't until after they went on to the next shiny object did I give them a chance.Totally understand this, me even having opened up to what the show Ted Lasso is (took about three episodes to understand and get in the mood and realm of it) also get annoyed by how much Apple force-shoves content to our faces. Also, the Billie Eilish case, can someone explain in short form what’s up with that? A few weeks ago, I go to Apple Music on Mac to launch the New Music Mix on Friday’s… and get welcomed on app load a full screen height worth of Billie Eilish stations, essentials, albums, etc etc before getting to the “For You” stations. I counted about 10 at least. Go later that day on Apple TV and have banners side by side for Billie Eilish documentary or something (banners like they do for Ted Lasso). MR has had tons of articles related to the same theme.
I haven’t clicked nor hit play on a single thing about her… totally 100% up my face nauseating. I still remember the Bono days.
Maybe us as consumers can raise a flag on this, but maybe it’s a minority too.
Right but it doesn't say "Warner Bros." on the T-Shirt it says Apple TV+ maybe I'm just not into that much foods touching.None of the Apple TV+ shows were created by Apple. Ted Lasso was produced by Warner Bros. Television Studios, which I'm pretty sure has created many other television shows.
