MLB on Apple TV+ isn't available in some countries in Europe and Apple, unlike all the other broadcasters, will not allow MLB.tv subscribers in Europe to access these games in areas that they won't market them themselves. Very irritating

Does anyone care? Isn’t it all about half time anyway?
I’m sure millions of people care. But if it’s all about halftime for you, then you do you. Enjoy. I’m a pats fan so I just want to have a few beers, eat a few snacks, and watch some stress free football where it doesn’t matter who wins. Maybe see Taylor swift…

Hmm well… I watch maybe 2 hours of football every week… shall I watch the Champions League highlights with the best teams from across Europe, or shall I watch the MLS… seems a pretty straightforward choice to me.

I can assure you I don’t care at all. I care even less in a thread about actual football.
Millions that’s cute, such a niche sport.

Oh, you're one of those. The "Non-American football" (soccer) fans. Let people enjoy things. You enjoy your soccer, others will enjoy football. Because you are never going to force people to change what they love and what it's called by gatekeeping. We call it soccer because we already have a game we call football. And we got the name soccer from the British anyway.

Right so there’s not really a need to discuss hand egg in a football thread is there.

It’s nice to see how football soccer is catching up in the U.S.
We, argentineans, have planted the seed of Messi there and more will come.
It will grow over time and will take over (american) football.

you do realize football refers to any sport played on foot, as opposed to horseback… right?

Rugby is also football. What’s the shape of their ball? Victorian football is also football, what’s the shape of their ball? Are you even aware that Victorian football and Gaelic football are closer to what “football” existed as prior to IFAB codifying a strict set of rules? One of the biggest being the addition of a crossbar?

Should we call soccer round ball by your logic?

Call it whatever you want, my only complaint is the implication VFL is a sport.

Hand egg… that’s quite funny, and a good descriptor, but wouldn’t hand oval be better? I mean, fancy calling a game which is all about throwing and catching “football”.
