I don't understand why people have to make it known to everyone else that they haven't wanted anything on Apple TV+ every time there is an article about Apple TV+. It's like posting in every article that mentions iPad and comment that I don't have one.

Also, how do you know you don't like anything on Apple TV+if you haven't watched anything on it?

Because this is a forum, and this is news about a new release that has been announced. This is nothing wrong in saying that even this one is not looking appealing.

companies used to pay lots of money for focus groups to opine on their products, now they can get it for free on forums. nothing wrong with that.

Yes, but those groups would have used the product or watched the show and then give an opinion. Companies wouldn't glean anything from asking someone what do they think of a show if they haven't watched it.

actually focus groups are also done on idea pitches

this one would look a lot like this

organizer: "how many would like to see a seth rogan show"
group: -no one raises their hand

Actually, wrong. I get surveys from a couple of focus groups (including one BIG entertainment co). They ask for opinions on premise with just a brief high-level description, on cast, on posters, on tag lines, on titles, etc - without seeing 1 second of footage. Happens ALL the time. I've been doing it for over 20 years. --- for fun, I looked up one of the first companies I did feedback for. Started in 1998, and I think my first with them was in '99. Looks they are still going strong!

eta on-topic: I can't stand Seth or Rose. There is nothing in this premise that makes me think "MUST SEE'. There are a couple of ATv+ shows I like - Ted Lasso and Mythic Quest (that one, marginally). But that's about it. My free year ends in April (that didn't get extended, as only expiring accounts the next two months were extended....so far). If nothing changes, I won't be paying after my free run. And that's ok. Apple will keep the service going for a while - maybe a long while - for those who enjoy it.

After Mythic Quest, Ted Lasso, and Central Park, I'm in for any more half hour comedies Apple wants to put on the service. They've been really entertaining so far, and Ted Lasso may just be the best new show I've seen all year.

Yes, on a premise, but this show has already been ordered. So it’s too late to give any feedback and unlikely they will listen to people who refuse to watch Apple TV+ in the first place.

My free year ended 27th January and I've been extended to 27th February. It's my understanding everyone is being extended into February 2021. As yours expires after Feb, you get nothing :)

Feel the same way. I used to view him as an affable everyman type of person, but now I honestly can't stand him. It's not that I disagree with his opinion, just that the level of hateful snark and arrogance became so off-putting that I can't look at him the same anymore. I feel that way about a lot of celebrities now, actually. The more they tweeted about "being in this together," the more it became clear they lived in a completely different reality than the rest of us and I can't take them seriously anymore.
Yet you loved Steve for having those same qualities?
