Haven’t watched it yet, but I may. Looks like a bit of a downer, so I may wait until a weekend, when the kids are in bed and I can just drink and wallow in the sadness. 😂
The plot description and trailer didn’t do much for me but I decided to watch it because I love JT and was pleasantly surprised by it. I definitely recommend it!

Watched this last night. Really enjoyed it and a wonderful message. I have to give Apple credit, everything I've watched on Apple TV Plus had been top notch. Started season 2 last night of Dickenson. Another wonderful series. And Ted Lasso was superb. Go watch Palmer!

I personally though it was great. So far I have watched quite a few shows on Apple TV + and they have been as good as anything I watch on Netflix or others. I like See, For all Man kind, Ted Laso, Mythic Quest, Servant, Tehran, Greyhound, Defending Jacob and Palmer.

Watched it last night with my wife and mother-in-law. We all liked it. Even if it was a bit formulaic, they did a good job making the characters relatable, and a happy ending during these tough times is nice to experience.

It’s definitely worth a watch. But yes not with under age kids. I wouldn’t watch it with my 5 year old son.

I feel Apple TV+ gets unfairly criticized. It is still a fairly new service with only originals and it takes time to build up a big enough library. Other services have an advantage because they have all the old shows. Quality wise too, they seem to be varying from decent to above average, which is good enough IMO. Have seen Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, Defending Jacob and Tehran so far and found them to be extremely binge-worthy.

I really liked it a lot and wasn't expecting to. Another film with Justin's naked butt didn't hurt either. Also the first thing on Apple TV+ I bothered to finish. it’s really kind of a crappy streaming service is not worth paying for in my opinion.

Apple TV+ is ok. Some stuff like Tehran, Servant, For All Manking, Greyhound, The Banker and their music specials is worth watching but they’re not going to rival Netflix or Prime anytime soon.

In fact the best thing about Apple TV+ isn’t Apple TV+. It’s that it allows you to access your iTunes library on your TV w/o an ATV 4/4K. The app doesn’t let you access special features but this isn’t a big deal.

Also that Apple upgrades your purchases with the 4K transfer or new 1080p transfer the same day the disc comes out.

No these sound like feminine dramas. I’m talking Bourne Identity type thrillers, something with a hint of testosterone.
By “feminine”, you mean intelligent? I love action movies too but there are so many low budget and high budget ones to choose. Why look to Apple for that kind of stuff when you can just mindlessly stream Netflix movies like that all day long?

I think the movie is worth watching for the kid, and that’s literally the only reason. It doesn’t teach anyone anything because it just goes from JT being angry with how the kid acts, to being ok with it.... not much going on with that.

I’m more amazed that not one person has mentioned the major flaws with the movie and how it’s almost the literal definition of white privilege. It’s a story about a felon who gets every major break available, while continuing to break laws and make the wrong decision, then gets rewarded over and over again. It’s insane really.
