The Romans were right:

Gilligan showrunning, Seehorn starring; the chances of this being great are very high.

The only thing is I can't wrap my head around is those two working together again, in Albuquerque, but Seehorn's not playing Kim Wexler, and it's not in the Gilliganverse. It will be an adjustment!

That said, knowing Gilligan's work, there's pretty much guaranteed to be easter eggs. There's gonna be a pizza on a roof somewhere.

I find Breaking Bad easier to get into that newer shows like BCS.

It's like Guilligan knows he already has an audience that has patience to wait to be rewarded. And BCS is all in all a better show than BB.
Maybe so. Better Call Saul is definitely a slower burn, but man I enjoyed it a lot more than Breaking Bad too.

If anything, I'd say it certainly shows you don't have to race to the finish with a good show. The details are absolutely appreciated by anyone who's read a book only to be disappointed by a series (or more often, a movie) that didn't have the time to do it justice.

I've tried to watch it three times now. On one of the times I made it a full season before giving up. It is not a show for me.

Edit: Just saw that WarmWinterHat said almost the exact same thing about it as I did.
I also struggled with Breaking Bad when I tried to watch it many years ago…. could never get into it. However a couple of months ago, it popped up as “recommended” on my Netflix when I was looking for a new show to get into. Gave it a go and, to my surprise, this time I got into it! I’ve recently finished Season 3, and will probably start Season 4 this weekend :)

This new “Pluribus” show looks interesting and quirky, so I’ll see if i can finish off the last two seasons of Breaking Bad in time for Nov 7th!

Wow I could never get into breaking bad starting watching it about 6 years ago and couldn’t get past 3 episodes 😂 maybe I should try again I just couldn’t get into it at all 🤷🏻‍♂️.
It’s not for everyone, but no show is. The tone changes significantly after season one. I remember Vince being interviewed about it during the first season and him describing it as a dark comedy. Maybe that was true for season one but not later seasons.

I’m looking at the trailers for this show and honestly don’t get it 😂 maybe I’m not a fan of the writer 🤣.

I gave up my on first attempt of BB. Back in the days of renting dvds. When it showed up on Netflix, I gave it another shot and got drawn in. You can trust your instincts on this. No matter how much someone tells you that need to watch “whatever” it just might not be compelling to you.
My daughter and boyfriend were watching Botched (?), a show about people who had bad facial enhancements and the corrective surgery done to fix it. They were insistent that I watch it but the little I saw passing thru the room was enough for me. lol

Better late than never, and watching seasons close together has its advantages.
My wife hadn’t seen breaking bad. So we watched Saul together and then when it reaches the part with Mr White, I had her watch the entire Breaking Bad, so she could then watch the end of Saul.

More handouts to their Hollywood friends so Eddy Cue can shake hands with them.

Apple being in the movie business it's so gross. They aren't interested in the art form, it's just bullet points for the Service Revenue excel sheet.

It has already begun. One of the teaser trailers includes the plane crash bear from BB on a headband.

Yeah it's when you can create one after another that it really just works. Breaking Bad did have a few seasons that I thought were not as good as others.. but it all ties in nicely. A really underrated TV series is The Americans.. if you ever need something to binge.
I LOVED The Americans. The ending was incredibly good.

These trailers are terrible 😂 wow they really don’t make me think I really need to watch this 🤣. I’m I missing something 🤷🏻‍♂️.

no show is for everybody and that's totally cool.

Lots of people seem to have really connected with that trailer (myself included) and there's no point in trying to be objective about this as if there is only one truth to experiencing art.

may you follow your gut to wherever it leads

Not a Breaking Bad fan, but that trash trailer is a work of genius.

This looks extremely silly.
I guess they just can't make a decent show.

I was stunned by the show. Such a slow burn, but holy character developmenet batman. They tied things together so well, I went on to watch breaking bad immediatley, and some of the things that Saul says that I had no idea why he said it then was unreal. I will try to manage my expectations on this one as I know it's a different world entirely.
