You can skip the entire first season. It’s slow and boring.
But from season 2 onwards, it gets better and better.

I think you should give it another try. The first time I watched it I also only made it through the first 2 or 3 episodes and though it was OK but wasn't sure I wanted to watch the whole series.
But after a few months of continuing to hear the rave reviews I decided to give it another try and vowed to watch the entire first (strike shortened) season before deciding. For me, the light bulb came on after the sixth episode, Crazy Handful of Nothin', when I realized this might turn out to be pretty great. And it did, going on to be the highest rated show in IMDB history with the S5E14, Ozymandias, garnering the only 10.0 rating every achieved. Turned out to be my favorite TV series of all time.
But I'm sure it's not everybody's cup of tea so your YMMV.
Severance and Silo are currently my two favourite TV shows.
They both just happen to be on Apple TV+. Wondering if this will become my 3rd.
And the new season of For All Mankind.
This show sounds promising, mainly because of Seehorn and Gilligan.
I don't know how folks stay engaged and excited with any of this anymore.
With FAMK, over 7 years there have been 4 seasons (of only 10 episodes).
Its tough. Stranger Things is the worst example. That show should have been over like 5 years ago.
