Apple Unveiled These Seven New Products This Week

The week isn't done just yet.

We’ll see but why have the in-person event and then announce? They would be afterthoughts. This was an underwhelming week of announcements except for the Neo opening a new price point for Macs. MBP was just M5 bump.
No Studio or Mini update — could/should have been announced with the M5 MBP and new screens. I’d guess it’ll push back to WWDC if at all.
No AppleTV update — not shocking as there’s not a huge need for more powerful ATV and waiting on Siri.
No HomePod update — probably either vaporware with the screen version or waiting on Siri
No base iPad update — kinda weird to leave that without Apple Intelligence

I see Neo as a good alternative to the iPad mini crowd. Same price as iPad mini and a lot more useful. If you need an iPad, just grab the base iPad I guess.

So if a 16" MacBook Pro was being sold for the same as an iPad Mini, then it's a good alternative to it? I really don't follow that logic. Form factor is more relevant to function than price.

Yep. Neo, ok (i like the citrus, cool) - beyond that? Slim pickings. No Studio, Mini, a rather flaccid roll out of « new » monitors (4 years later and this?). Move on, nothing to see here.…..

Apple said it was a week of announcements. Today is only Wednesday. I do believe more is to come, but what remains will probably be generic spec bumps.

I'm still hoping for a black 17 Pro announcement this week.

Zero chance. The whole point of today's event was to let journalists touch everything that was announced this week and write about it. Apple's not going to announce one more thing tomorrow and ask journalists to come back.

Even if you don't follow that logic, the base iPad is fully stocked at all stores across the country, which means no new iPad coming soon.

The iPad Air was fully stocked before Monday’s update, so that doesn’t mean anything.

Surprised that the basic iPad/11th gen did not get a refresh this week. All devices except the Neo are minor updates only. No reason for anyone with M4 to upgrade. Jump to 512 GB SSD for Air and 1TB for Pro is nice. However would have liked to see them at same starting price. TouchID should have been available on all models of Neo but at $599(or $499 for education), it is a good machine. I would recommend spending $100 more and getting TouchID and double the storage. Like the Citrus color. Blush is too light. If I were to get one, will definitely get it in Citrus. Overall the colors could have been better/brighter.

personally I own MacBook Air 13 iPhone 13 mini and iPad Air but im still waiting for a new iPhone mini on iPads I dont care for them to be 11 inch because I use them around the home but the iPhone I want it to be small.
