Certainly interesting, waiting for the rest of the presentation before I pass judgement. I am laughing at the mock-up thread and reading the reactions here, it's like opposite day here. Yesterday in the mock-up thread: This looks like crap, who designed this, an 8 year old?!. Today when it is revealed: OMG, it is amazing, iI just jizzed in my pants!!!!!! Classic MacRumors.

Guess what - they aren't the same people. Classic RCGMac.

Control center is what we have been asking for for years.

Thank you Johnny, thank you so much.

Wow, finally full multitasking?! SMH, this has been in Android for at least a year if not longer.

On the other hand the fact that iOS 7 will learn your app usage patterns is an interesting concept. Apple had a tough task here, how to update the OS without alienating the long-term users by changing everything. I am excited to see how this all plays out on a new iPhone, although for now I plan on keeping my Note II.

While I'm not a big fan of minimalism-style design that is currently in vogue everywhere, I like the look of iOS7. Actually I'm surprised with the amount of negative comments in regards to the look.

It'd be interesting to make a poll, that's for sure :p

No one likes change. But this is great. It will be loved after the release and people get used to it.

I don't want my home address on my phone. Will be removing these location features.

What are they using to "demo" iOS7, is that an iPad or iPhone? It doesn't have the home button?

Android's implementation is hardly fool-proof. The number of times something has misbehaved on my neighbor's Jellybean Galaxy Nexus and his battery has died because of failed multitasking is innumerable.

Remember when FaceTime was announced and people cried out that their phone has had a web-cam and can do X and Y for years? Really? And how many of you bother to even use it because the interface and implementation are just horrible?

That's what's going on here. Sure, other devices have had "similar" functionality, but you can bet your bum it will be done better in iOS, and it will simply "work." Just like FaceTime, which brought me and my family together where no other implementation could.

What is the over/under on number of "Its already in Android" comments we are going to see in this thread?

Thank goodness the 9to5 mockup was an absolute fail. This is MUCH better than the turd they showed.

I find it interesting that you think that just because it was designed by Apple, that it will "just work". Looking at Apple's track record with Maps and Siri, I am going to withhold my admiration until I see it actually working well. In the end I am happy to see an iOS that finally looks different than 5 yeas ago, now hopefully they can deliver on their promises.

I think the likelihood is greater, - far, far greater, that Apple's UI implementation will just be better. Sure, Apple has made some missteps, but gosh darnit this just gets me excited. :)
