Big listener of jazz and progressive music. This latest update has really given the low end a bass boost and more punch on my APPros that haven’t been there before. Good job Apple!

Whoa...you listen to the same 4 hour playlist EVERY DAY?!?!?

Not criticizing, just curious...why? Workout mix or something? How often do you modify that playlist?

Anyway, more on topic: thanks for the impressions! Still trying to get mine to update.
I wake up early to stretch and workout yes.

its pretty much a mix of the same songs so I have a good idea of how much time has passed between stretches and then workout routines.

Man, is it just me or is the find my “feature” on the AirPods Pro absolute garbage? I guess it’s making the best of a bad situation essentially. If the next version of AirPods Pro doesn’t have an AirTag built into it the department working on AirPods should be fired

AirPod Pros still losing and gaining charge very unevenly. These were in the case overnight, and one was dead this morning, which I didn't discover until I got to the gym.

Do you folks think this is hardware or software or firmware? Or is it normal when the case is lowe?I've got AppleCare into July, so trying to figure out what to do.

So 3 weeks later, and my AP3s still stuck on AC165 (2 revs back?). Hope that story about Apple Stores getting a tool to manually do this is true and Stores will be open when it lands.

The AirPods Pro firmware update procedure is so clunky and un-Apple. Hell they have an LED on the case so what can't this be used as a firmware update indicator? The Settings also do not show the status so you have to keep checking randomly to see if the version number changes. The Software Update feature should be used centrally for all iDevices instead of having to run the check on every single device.

Any suggestions if my AirPods Pros have lousy connectivity with my M1 MBA? They're fine with every other device, but sound gets very underwatery on my Mac. It's been this way for weeks, but was fine before, so I'm presuming it may be this latest update.

I’ve noticed this on my M1 MacBook Pro but only if another app plays sound and even after the other app stops it doesn’t go away for a while. Pausing and playing again can fix it sometimes.

I recently noticed while using my AirPods Pro's with my M1 air that if I play 2 audio sources, the previous audio source gets the volume "turned down" while the current audio source is at regular volume.

Example.
Started listening to a YouTube video/playlist, then opened up iTunes to play a song.

Youtube is not muted but the volume is lowered and sounds like its in the background while the iTunes music is at normal volume in the forefront/center.

Anyone else experience this or am I going CRAY-CRAY?

My AirPods Pro updated automatically.

Directly after 4C165 back in mid-Dec my wife's Airpods 2 volume became about 1/4 what it used to be making them just about useless anywhere outside a quiet room. They are about 1 1/2 yrs old and obviously out of warranty so I am SOL. Tried all the fixes & tricks I could find on the web but nothing helps. Could just be a coincidence I guess. Anyone else have that "coincidence"?

Did you try the pods volume by listening to a not “lossless” song? In apple music lossless songs volume are mutch lower than of the not lossless

While the post you are replying to is almost 2 months old the issue was with ANYTHING that came through the headphones be it music, phone calls or other apps. I resolved it by selling them for cheap on eBay "AS-IS for parts only" and bought a set of V3's which I hated (wouldn't stay in my ears), then returned them for a set of Pro's which I hated even more (same reason) then returned them for a new set of V2's like I originally had and they are perfect like the original ones were and a hellava lot cheaper. Sometimes "new and improved" doesn't always mean better. At least for me. :D

I was tired of the wireless throw-away lifestyle so I’ve switched back to wired headphones. Much better quality and much cheaper.

I’ve said this for years so hence I always choose wireless with the option to use a 3.5mm cable which allows a lot better volume / amplification from the same source. Bluetooth seems to be the bottleneck.
