Since my iOS devices updated, any Numbers files in iCloud drive I have opened on an iOS device can no longer be accessed on my Mac Pro. It is stuck with Numbers 3.6.2 as it will not support an OS newer than El Capitan.
Has anyone else experienced this?

It would have been really helpful if Apple had made this incompatibility clear so I could have avoided upgrading the iOS apps and losing shared access to my files.

Ouch. That sucks. It’s not an ideal solution but if you google there are ways to install Mojave on unsupported macs. That would restore access presumably.

For those of us iWork diehards:

No, no additional functionality was added to linked text boxes to bring it back to the iWork '09 levels.

That's too bad as Pages was always an excellent layout program in addition to its word processing abilities. I now use Pages for most of my in house documents and the nice "iStudio Publisher" program for layout work. I still keep a copy of Word 2011 around for document exchanges with others. I guess I'll need to abandon that when the next version of macOS goes public.
