Apple Vision Pro Gains New Lake Vrangla Environment

Nice to see another environment with reflective water after Mount Hood. Always loved Mount Hood for movies for that reason :)

Have you considered Environments from licensed content? Make the Disney Tatooine Environment available along with your other Environments. How about a Star Trek bridge Environment where movies are shown on the view screen?

edit: Scratch that. Are you asking for Disney's Tatooine to be added to Apple's default environment options? I don't have an AVP; what is the advantage of that vs the current setup?

I’ve used mine on several flights now. It’s the best travel accessory for a plane! I may look a bit silly with it on but I don’t care 😂

Having a theater size screen that no one around you can see makes the flights way more enjoyable. I don’t set the environments to be fully immersive though, as I want to be somewhat aware of surroundings and people around me.

A seat with a power plug or having a back up battery is a must though as the battery lasts less than 3 hours. The overhead strap is also better for movie watching as it’s less stress on your head from the weight of the device.

Or even their own environments based on movies and series Apple releases? Environments from For All Mankind, Invasion, Monarch, etc... ?

You should try out the developer beta if you want Bora Bora - I’ve found it way better than the latest 1.x build available and tons more features - i think you can just sign up for the developer beta without much hassle these days

Apple has released a new Environment for Apple Vision Pro, called Lake Vrangla, which is close to Oslo in Norway.

In other words, the Vision Pro now has a desktop background called Lake Vrangla
 
While I lol'd at the comments that find the image somewhat unsettling, I clicked through to say that I actually like this image as a background. It's calm, not distracting - two things I look for in my desktops/backgrounds. Lets the content that sits on top, be front and center. And thats the fun here: different strokes for different folks.

Thanks. Yes that’s the one I’m talking about. You can only view the Tatooine from within the Disney app. So you can watch Star Wars with it but you can’t bring up other apps like you can with the Apple Environments

That background seems quite bleak to work to. May be quite peaceful I guess, but initially looks depressing, does it change with the time of day? that would be quite nice if you're up just as the sun is rising.

Some people may want it like that's it may bring back some memories, or makes them feel good, while others may feel depressed. It depends on the user.
Bora Bora is my favorite, but I feel that the sound of the water doesn't go according to what I'm seeing. As if it doesn't belong to the environment.

Love these, but I would second the request for an indoor environment. I love the Apple TV theater environment for content I really want to focus on. Would love that to be made available as a general environment. Right now I use the moon dark environment when focusing directly on videos.

Do airline power plugs provide enough power to run the VP and top off the battery? Lower power ports, such as a USB hub, don't provide enough power. They prolong run time but eventually the battery will become exhausted.

The standard 110V do, just like a normal wall outlet.
