A former pitcher for the Royals? I thought they said “professional”...

I kid, I kid...

They did win it all in 2015
[doublepost=1555439391][/doublepost]Shady article trying to make the jury look incompetent. Why does it matter what their professions are? This is how jury’s work, they are randomly selected for cases.

Isn't divulging the identity of jurors, no matter how tenuously, somewhat illegal?

You must never have served as a juror. When I was one, the judge asked everyone in the box a few questions, one of which was what they did for a living.

Anyone who walks into an open courtroom will know the identity of the jurors.

The former MLB pitcher is going to throw a curve at both Apple and Qualcomm. Meanwhile, the retired psychologist will be analyzing the opposing lawyers just for the fun of it.

Sure!

Sure, use an image of people reading the newspaper to try and discount the negative effects technology has had on society. Don’t pay attention to the studies which state social media is more addicting than heroin, millennials are the more depressed than previous generations, and they have anxiety levels through the roof.

There’s a vast difference between a newspaper and a pocketable device which can play music and videos, take pictures, communicate with someone anywhere in the world, post on social media, etc. You can’t ignore the negative grip technology is taking over people. Steve Jobs didn’t let his children use smartphones & tablets for good reasons.

I’d like to know how many hours people used to read the newspaper per day vs how long people use their smartphones today.
