I use tap to click...I personally don't see a need for any "clickable" buttons at all with the multi-finger gestures and taps options. It's so much faster and easier to tap two fingers for right-click and double tap for click-drag, etc....

So a good settlement/compromise/agreement (sorry I don't know the correct word) could be a buttonless touchpad... but silent. What do you think?

PS. Why has the MBA touchpad been forgotten? With my previous MBP I used to dream about the MBA touchpad...
 
FACT: the touchpad is incredibly stiff and loud if you click. Its sound is ridiculous if you consider that we live in 2009.
