I always find it funny that if someone "supports" Apple then they automatically are an Apple Fanboy.

The same thing can be said the other way though where if someone hates something Apple is doing that person is automatically an Apple hater.

I myself just stand in the middle. I tend to love Apple products because they have always been very reliable for me and I never have one issue with them. If I do then Apple's amazing customer service has always fixed it for me. Though I remember these times. I remember reading and hearing everything about Android and of course I remember when the iPhone was first introduced. I am not saying Android stole the idea though knowing all the facts of the phones and how these phones were coming about I must say Android really did change its direction very quickly as soon as the iPhone was introduced. Though who wouldn't? Look at it, it was a revolutionary device when it was introduced.

You're the one who's polarizing this debate. I personally own an iPhone and a MacBook, don't care about Android at all, use Linux and OS X for my personal needs. I can just recognized on a technical level the differences between OSes and the hardware they run on and the differences between 2 OS design philosophies.

Why ? Because I'm a geek and lover of technology. I'm a programmer, and a systems administrator. This is my playing field, this is what I do day in and day out.

You have yet to offer any insight into what the Android people took from iOS anyhow. I'm still waiting. Until you do, good day.
Good day. One claim has already been made in this thread, so I'm surprised you keep harping on this without addressing it. Perhaps re-reading the thread would help.

I'm so glad that you automatically knew that I was talking about you, even when I wasn't. I didn't even write that post talking about you. Thanks for assuming it. Something like that must be on your mind if you automatically assumed I was aiming that post towards you.

Well since my "Gruber has no credibility" comment is about the only thing close to claiming "fanboy!" in this thread in the last few posts, sorry for assuming you meant that.

Happy to now you agree with me that this should be polarized. Try not to talk about it, it gets the polarizers started up (that's advice, not a critique).

The only question is: When will Apple actually release another innovative product that blasts anything out of the water? Lately, only their exceptional marketing machinery is driving product sales, not innovation.

It's true. This is the scary thing about them not being underdogs anymore.
