Hi,

I run with Strava on my Apple Watch. The app is great - but the watches inbuilt HR is terrible, and never works.

I bought a Polar H10 BT chest strap to see if that would help but I can't seem to get the Strava watch strap to display the HR reading from the chest strap after connecting it to the watch.

Can anyone help? I can't see to find a step by step guide.

What do you mean the built-in HeartRate sensor is terrible? I bike, run and walk on the watch and it gives me a very accurate reading. Are you allowing the watch to be fit, not loose on your wrist? If it's loose, it can be skipping readings and sweat can get between the sensor and your wrist which will also interfere.

I find that it's better with the Apple fitness app, but still not perfect. I don't wear it super tight but it fits well enough.

What app do you use?
