Good thread. And good information here.
I was ALL about the Fenix 6x Plus i bought, but at the end of the day, it just wasn't smart ENOUGH for me, and I wasn't Sporty enough for IT.
Now on an S5, and although it's smarter than the Fenix, again, it's lacking in several departments. WIsh it was more rugged, and less pretty, and for god's sake - can I get even 2 days of battery life?????
Conclusion: no ONE watch does it all. I guess the individual manf's are wise to their niche's, and build accordingly.
Compromise, or buy them both -- but it would seem that they're all wise to our needs and wants, and continue to occupy individual spaces in the wearable universe, and don't overlap.
Looking at Amazon today: is there a SIGNIFICANT lack of availability of S3 and S5's overnight???
That's interesting as the S6 looms on the horizon!
