Early legs day done. The thing that bothers my patellar tendentious the most (by far more than running).

Could you do a more extensive review of the shoes (preferably here)? Maybe compare it to other NB running ones?

Overall Review of the New Balance 880V6: (Of course, all runners will vary with comfortability/experience).

I have owned these shoes for a little over two weeks now. They are extremely lightweight and they are an every day running shoe for road/treadmill. When I purchased these, I was told that they were an "Neutral" running shoe. Technical specifications: This is a 10 mm "Heel to toe" drop shoe, with neutral Arch support.

The strongest attribute to the shoes is that they are extremely comfortable and they have an excellent level of cushioning/padding when you're running. That was the first thing I noticed was how comfortable they were on the heel and midsole when I was running, which I typically run on concrete.

They breathe very easily and have a premium build with the foam/stitching. I did size up on these, as I wanted a little extra room in the shoe, being naturally your feet will swell when you run. So that also helps with the comfortability.

The two biggest positive notes with these shoes is the reviews are all have said that they these will last for a very long time and they are extremely lightweight, which is very helpful for long runs. Truthfully, I don't have anything negative to say as of right yet, being I have only owned them just over two weeks.

Starting today, my running routine is going to change from "Dead sprinting" for 200 yards, then walking, sprinting, walking, etc. So I will put them to the test for higher speeds today.

Had to go to a different (smaller) LA Fitness this morning and then had to fight traffic hell to get home. Side note today is our opening home game for SunTrust Park. Luckily I want be driving this afternoon (but there will still 80 more home games to go:eek:).

Back (my best view)/core is done and now about to go for an extreme trail run. If I don't report back in an hour or so call 911. :D

Most mornings on my way up the hills, I pass this single wall of an old castle/fort which was built in the year 1200.

King Edward 1st of England spent the day and night of the 29th July 1296 resting in the castle on his way south to England.

The castle commanded the trade route through this part of Speyside. The castle was abandoned in the year 1662 and the local townsfolk set alight to and destroyed the site, using many of the big stone to build houses in the village.

Here are a few pics from my extreme trail run today. Cool pics BenAigen and coincidentally today I explored Akers Mill’s ruins (built in circa 1860). May post a few pics of my adventure (and it was to get to) but I did have my Watch on Pause from my run.

Out my backdoor and into the Chattahoochee River Reserve. Misty damp morning.

Not sure what the Parks Service is up to here.

More weird 'brush stacking' by the sides. A neighbor suggested it may be a futile/obtuse attempt at erosion control.

IMG_4690_zps5uw5jskd.jpg

Under the I75 & I285 cloverleaf by Rottenwood creek. 100,000s of cars passing overhead and having no idea what is below them.

IMG_3008_zpsldvbkbrc.jpg

Just passed mile 5 marker and a quick stop to view the peacefully morning flow of the Chattahoochee river.

IMG_9643_zpsfeun2s3w.jpg

My home is about 225 vertical feet (about 70M) above the Chattahoochee river and this is about ⅔ the way up.

You are here. :)

Did a 10 mile run this morning and meandered through The Battery/SunTrust Park a couple of times and took a lot of pics. Wasn't feeling 100% so didn't mind stopping a lot. Opening game was last night and went smoothly (Braves even beat the Padres). The area is shaping up beautifully and is going to be a gem. Will post some pics of the run after while. Need to whittle it down.

This is my paths through The Battery. Anecdote: 3 years ago this was all woods with a small lake. I would run around the lake and I would probably be the only person on the property. Now with 300 apartments, dozens of restaurants, bars and retail stores that will never happen again.

The very first pic I posted had The Cobb Energy Center in it. Here it is from another angle.

I285 Pedestrian bridge is open but FAR from complete. You are temped on the shuttle bus side too which is narrower than the pedestrian side.

Giant 'iPads' everywhere and I took a pic of one with a cig butt in front of it.

Cobb Parkway west of The Battery (to right). 10’ walk wasn’t here 10 days ago.

IMG_2249_zpsy7urnqip.jpg

Don't like steps, especially when running. But do like wide pedestrian only avenues. Oddly I do the Stair Climber (and Stair Stepper) mechanics about 2x a week.

Continue with a few more latter.

Windy Hill diverging diamond center pedestrain walk. Well protected (and wide) from 'wrong way' traffic. Is a little disconcerting to cross the lanes to get to since you naturally want to look the other way as the traffic crosses over.

This must be a player parking lot just a few feet from the stadium.

Still have a few more and will post tomorrow.

Running west on Battery Avenue (The Battery's main street) with stadium on left. A little odd that they left a gap in the bolsters that protect the stadium.

Just for fun here is closeup of one of the giant 'iPads' in action " You are here". They are about 7' tall and have an HD camera (even says HD) at the top. Tried to FaceTime but.....:D

Running north on Cobb Parkway/US41 just inside the Perimeter (I285). Cumberland Mall to left and Mall to Galleria pedestrian bridge in right of pic (white). Overhead electrical wires sure are ugly.

Parks Service West Palisades Paces Mill (US41) entrance. Planes are for a complete upgrade. Hope the funds are allocated considering the current political climate.

Planes for this park. All the work on Cobb Parkway (US41) is already done.

Can confirm it is a Geocaching point
Love the first pic. Also is that a Geocaching 'prize'?

Legs day at a different LA Fitness. Looks like someone suffers from a little OCD.

That guy in the blue shirt in the background is straight mean mugging you. He probably is thinking "What are you taking my picture for?"

Funny that I noticed this too. LA Fitness does have a no video/pic taking policy since a Playboy model made national news by making a video in the locker room fat shaming someone. More reason it is odd is because I was being VERY inconspicuous and holding my iPhone like I was looking at it instead of up like taking a pic. Even the other guy in the pic seems to be glancing a 'what are you doing' look.

Change of route - Whisky casks getting weathered off before the coopers refurbish and rejuvenate before filling with new make spirit (can only be called whisky after it's 3 years old). These are ex American white oak casks previously filled with Bourbon Whiskey)

Was OoT and at my dad's in coastal Georgia. Did a decent >10 miles run and keep the first 5 at an under 8 minute pace. Allergies slowed me down after that.

IMG_2380_zpsztpgidtc.jpg

Rural and ran the full 2 miles length in the middle of this 'main' road without seeing a single car (8am).
