A little oddity. Decided to clean my carpet myself Tuesday and that was an all day job and workout (still went and did legs [weight trained]). However for lunch decided to do a ‘mini’ hike back into the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Park to ‘picnic’ and get away from the smell. Beautiful 68º F sunny day.

Raning again and a cold rain too. Usually do 6 on weekday runs but ended up with over 8. Oddly my Watch didn't record from mile 2 to mile 3.

Just finished back (weights) and it has slowed to a drizzle. Time to start a run.

Rain break under the pedestrian bridge leading to SunTrust Park (behind me).

Literally soaked from head to toes and socks starting to 'bunch up'. Had slowed to a drizzle so I stopped to take a pic and then it started pouring again.

Strange that my Watch didn't record my 2ed mile and it seems to be exactly from mile 1 to mile 2 it didn't record.

Cold morning for May in Atlanta (45ºF) and very windy too. Still took it slow and got in 12 miles.

On Akers Trail, running east with Akers Mill Rd right and I285 (Top End) left/above.

Looks like the Townhomes and new luxury apartments were 'forced' to put up gates on Crescent Way. Was wondering how they were going to handle SunTrust parking.

Windy Hill & US41 looking south towards SunTrust Park. Resurfacing, new sidewalks and new LED streetlight construction has reached here now.

Village Parkway had perfectly good 4' walks and Cobb County using SPLOST funds replaced with theses nice 8' walks. Seems like a waist since it is an underdeveloped/under used area.

Spring Rd and one of the 'oldest' 8' walks in the area.

Crossed today on the pedestrian side. Started on the other end (Battery side) and know I wasn't supposed to since the whole bridge was closed off until closer to game time. Oddly the fixed sign says "...Reopen in 4 Hours". What does it say if you come back in an hour?

However the coast was clear and I made it. After 12 miles of running jumping the fence wasn't easy. At least I'm not in jail.

Cumberland Boulevard heading north just outside the perimeter.

Did an 11 mile run this morning. Hope I saved enough for the BIG 1 miler needed for tomorrow (Mother's Day badge).

Good question. I believe most directly related stadium/The Battery work is scheduled to be complete before the end of the year. Of course I'm in a rapid growth area now and related and offshoot work/development will likely be on going.

Did cardio machines but when I got home decide to make a short 1 mile 'around the neighborhood' cool down trek.

Out and about and through the woods.

Passed about 7 or 8 people that seemed unrelated to each others groups. Unusual since it is very secluded.

Odd, this is what I see.


EDIT: Weird that I can see them using Chrome but not in Safari. And it is only these 2 pics that are effected.
