I don’t fret this anymore, I have AC+ for as long as I will wear mine, “problem” solved.
🤔 For free?I have a Series 6 44mm titanium that I bought about 1.5 years ago the battery life is at 82%, just got off with Apple support they are going to replace the watch as I only have about 500 charge cycles on it they said that percentage would be after 1000 charge cycles.
Yes it has the 2 year apple care with the titanium edition so yes being replaced for free.🤔 For free?
How did they determine the count of charge cycles? My S6 SBTi is showing 80%. I suppose I could wait if I must, but if cycle count would get them to do it now…I have a Series 6 44mm titanium that I bought about 1.5 years ago the battery life is at 82%, just got off with Apple support they are going to replace the watch as I only have about 500 charge cycles on it they said that percentage would be after 1000 charge cycles.
It is possible to find out yourself, google it. It’s a bit convoluted but the info is accessible. How did they determine the count of charge cycles? My S6 SBTi is showing 80%. I suppose I could wait if I must, but if cycle count would get them to do it now…
thanks.

Your battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 1000 complete charge cycles. The one-year warranty (for Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sport) and two-year warranty (for Apple Watch Edition) include service coverage for a defective battery. If it is out of warranty, Apple offers a battery service. Prices and terms may vary.
The watch is nowSE 44mm
~1.5 years old (purchased not long after launch day)
~92% battery health (of course, the reported health is an estimate)
~2 days per charge/cycle (will probably change when summer activities kick in)
