Has anyone tried using any cases/accessories for their ceramic watch? I used to use a protector for my series 1 ss watch in situations I might scratch it but now that the new series 2 are thicker they don't fit anymore. The digital crown button pulls it too far to the right.

Granted, I never understood why people would put a case on a watch, but the whole point of the ceramic is that it is harder and more scratch-resistant than steel. Of course, ceramic is also more shatter-prone, but it seems to me AppleCare+ would be a better solution if you are worried about that.
[doublepost=1474830775][/doublepost]The Michigan Avenue store has the ceramic watch available for pickup. Another model of the Hermes also came into stock (the 42mm Feu Epsom along with the 38mm Etoupe Double Tour) so it looks like availability is slowly improving.

Well if my wife wasn't already annoyed at me after picking up the ceramic, she definitely will be after I buy a bunch of these bands! :D:D:D

I almost never use the case actually it's just that once in a blue moon if I'm doing something that could accidentally harm the watch it's just a quick protection option. Otherwise I've never used it on my ss series 1 except when I was doing construction stuff around the house.

I bought my husband one for his S0 SS when we got ours on launch day. It's really just for mountain biking and heavy projects around the house. He's never used it otherwise. I assume that a case like that for the ceramic would serve a similar purpose.

Yeah, I would never want to cover such a beautiful watch. It's for emergency only so not a huge deal lol

Interesting that it seems to look best with the sports band and that black link bracelet.

I got it! It's charging and restoring from my backup now, but it's more beautiful in person than it was behind the display case in the store. The sport band feels really loose and wobbly, though, which is a bit concerning. The stainless steel original didn't have that sort of wobbliness with the bands. More impressions later!

It really does look better in person. I have heard the sport band thing from others on here, but mine seems to be fine. Hope you keep enjoying it.

Managed to get my hands on a ceramic model as well (love it) and noticed that the online store is again selling the 42mm white leather classic buckle which i ordered as I am hoping it will dress up the watch some what.
