They are not the new first world, they have the largest population numbers WHILE being first world (in other words, they are the biggest target markets for tech). Whereas the "happiest" and pretty rich countries like Denmark, Finland and super-technological Norway get everything later, because of a several-million population.

Translations take time. If countries not on the roll-out list changed their languages to English, I think they would stand a pretty good chance of making the list.

I think the biggest thing is that, for example, when you are driving, you don't have to use your phone (and jeopardize your life) to check texts, social media, and GPS directions. You can now just glance at your wrist when it's on the steering wheel.

We REALLY should not be checking texts and social media while driving! (And I'm not being preachy — I glance down to see texts sometimes, too — but I know I shouldn't.)

Forget about the Watch, iOS REALLY needs a dark mode.

To be honest, no matter what other new options iOS 9 brings, if Apple gave us dark mode for iOS 9, that would without a doubt be the best new feature for me. Apple give us "dark mode" for iOS 9!!!

Meanwhile, Android was all about the dark mode, until they lightened things up with Lolipop. Weird.

That's the reason I switched back to iOS and bought an iPhone 6. I couldn't get used to the new whiteness in the UI, so I thought I should just switch to iOS if I'm going to have to deal with a white UI.

I hope you did it for other reasons as well and not just for that.

Really looks great, both appearance and functionality included; I can't wait for April 10!! Looks like an absolutely amazing product.

Unless ordered at the opening hour it will probably be many months before actually getting one.

Trouble is April 10 is a Friday and if they put the :apple:Watch on sale at 12:01 AM in Cupertino it's 4 in the morning here in the East!

People stare at their phones on buses so that they don't have to interact with other people. Watch isn't going to change that!

Exactly! Before phones people read books, newspapers, or just stared out the window.

If I do decide to buy a watch, I'm going to be strict with myself about which notifications are displayed there. I do not want to be completely consumed by social media. I doubt my girlfriend would be happy if I kept checking my watch throught dinner because people were poking me on facebook.

Exactly, not worth the cost.

...no. You clearly don't understand the difference between a civil matter and a criminal matter. It's a civil matter - people don't get extradited over a breach of contract. The remedy for a breach of contract is a lawsuit (or any remedy specified in the contract - such as a termination of the person's ability to access the developer program), not a criminal complaint. When the defendant doesn't answer the lawsuit, you get a default judgment for monetary damages, not a warrant. There is no extradition.

Well noted. Thanks for the free legal advise.
