Will do

Congrats, but man I can't imagine how you'll feel in a year or two when the new watch comes out. Just seems like a steel AW and a gold real watch would be far more useful.

Do you plan on working out with the gold watch?

Going out on the town?

More money than sense, as they say!

I am going to use it daily. If I think version 2 is much better, I will get one of those and sell this one. Problem solved.

1st gen & limited supply will probably keep the value from going to low on this generation. ;)

I'm thinking that anyone that can drop $10k+ on a watch is doing quite well for themselves and doesn't worry about the depreciation.

It's a whole different level...

Congrats to those who are receiving their Editions!

This isn't a limited edition watch- they will make as many as people want.

Trust me, when the 2nd gen comes out, the value of this will sink like a stone. The buyers have likely already realized and accepted this fact.

Rose gold delivered to my husband's workplace today.
Yellow gold comes tomorrow.

Anybody looking to buy a watch, lol?

Look at that magnificent view from your apartment. Please tell me what you do for a living.

Congrats on receiving your watch edition! Can anyone post pictures of the charging leather case it comes in?

Thanks!

I thought that was the view from the "husbands workplace"...

Husband's office, definitely.
Pics were for Craigslist - we're not keeping it. Hoping to make a few off of people with absurdly more disposable income than us.

I have a question for you regarding this.

Since Apple has the serial# they sold you, if it was stolen, can Apple put a red flag on that serial# some how so it can't be used? Hmmm...just thinking about it, I guess not huh?

That's good to know! I worked for many years for a private courier. They will either fly it to your local city via commercial airline or may ship it UPS/fedex to your local hub then it will be recovered by the private courier and delivered to you.

I'm so excited for you! You must post pics when you get it!

Nah. They aren't red-flagging watches now. I bet this will change if there's enough backlash, though.

That's really irrelevant to those buyers though. Apple is marketing the Edition models to the nouveau riche and nothing screams "I have money" more than dropping $10,000-17,000 on a device that'll be obsolete in a few short years. That's what makes the Edition attractive to those buyers and yes, they will upgrade on a regular basis as they can well afford to do so.

Nice! Are you sticking with the sport band or getting other bands for it?

Apple doesn't sell extra bands for the Edition at this time. If they did I would get some additional bands. I would love a gold link band. The sport band does have a yellow gold pin, though.
