That's my thoughts exactly.

Now if I had that much money just to drop on a watch and not think twice I'd buy one....plus probably a stainless and sport just to have when I didn't wanna seem super flashy haha!

That's all I'm talking about. Tiffany's will FedEx a 90k diamond ring, so I'm quite sure it's not uncommon to have expensive stuff sent via FedEx or UPS.

That's the difference. People mail very expensive merchandise all the time. We all know this. It's just that Apple shipments DO get targeted by thieves because they know when to expect them.

Yes, but they're aren't thousands of Edition watches shipping at the same time are there. Its probably on par with the Rolex's you mention.

Have you worn the Sport Band? They're insanely comfortable. I hate watches for many reasons, but the Sport Band is one of the reasons that makes my Apple Watch actually wearable all the time.

Oh, I'm sure that's true, but this is still the first month of the Apple Watch launch. So, they're still a higher-profile target right now. Doesn't mean more expensive stuff isn't shipping every day.
 
Is there any way to take the charger out of the box? Let's say you wanted to take just the charging cable somewhere, rather than the entire box.

The magnetic disc appears to be embedded into the bottom of the box with the lightning connector in the back.

I'm supposing that if one can afford a $10k+ Watch Edition then one can afford to buy an extra charging cable for travel use.

No, but it comes with an extra charger in the box.

It comes with an extra charging puck in the box.

I had to think about that one for a second...but I think "dye" would presumably be related to color, where "die" (as in "die casting") refers to a device used to form material (in this case the fluoroelastomer of the band). At least that makes sense in my head. :cool:

I think the edition support team would be very helpful should you have any problems with your band ;)
 
Great to see some Edition owners on here.

As for others sniping at the buyers. If you've got the cash, why not?

Enjoy the watch and I'm looking forward to further pics and impressions.

Looks like only the sports band ones went out.

The classic gold buckle 42mm should be arriving next week for everyone :apple:
