My 38 weeks pregnant wife, 3 year old son and I were attending her cousins wedding reception Saturday night. She left her iPhone in her purse at the table to go to the restroom when her water broke and she began to have contractions. No one could hear her call for help from the stall because of the loud music. Fortunately her Apple Watch was still connected through the bathroom walls and about 60 feet of ballroom, she was able to text me that her water broke and she was beginning labor. I quickly got her to the hospital where our second healthy son was born 2:01pm 5/3/2015. Yes, a long labor

Congratulations! That's an incredible story! Best endorsement for the Apple Watch that I've heard so far.

Best wishes for your whole family!

Congratulations!

Look like you will have to keep the AW and pass it to your son. Great story.

That's a great story. Its a good testament to the importance and convenience of wearable technology.

Thats cool... Congrats! When the kid gets older you can tell him the story, then he can laugh his head off at how we were strapping stunted phones to our wrists and thought it was high tech

I'm very impressed that it stayed connected that far away. I've had mine drop in a restaurant bathroom.

Congratulations on your new little boy!

Congratulations! I'd seriously email it to Apple - you might get a cute onesie or something!
