I was comparing MSRP. Specials are another story. Also, the $340 is for the Single Tour. The Double Tour is $490. The Single Tour packaged set sells for $1100. $1100-$340=$760 vs. $549 for the lowest priced Apple Watch Stainless Steel, which results in a difference of $211.Target currently offers the 38mm Milanese Loop is on sale for $549, and then buy a $340 Hermes band, saving themselves $361 over the $1250 Hermes price. So depending on the deal being offered on any given day at any given retailer ...
Now I understand you get a great deal of pleasure out of your Hermes edition, but honestly, is the Hermes face worth $340 to you?
Kinda hard to miss -- no traditional watch face that is the shape of the device -- just circles in a square. For myself, I mostly use the 'Modular' face, but occasionally it would be nice to switch to a traditional one better suited to the Apple Watch shape, like the face exclusive to the Hermès variant... Thanks though for stopping byI hadn't noticed.

If I were buying a new watch today I'd think about it. That's why I'm partially surprised that Apple and Hermes didn't price the band $200 higher. Maybe they are planning to update the price of the Single Tour packaged set to $950 either in 2 weeks when the bands go on sale, or when the new Apple Watch is released (remember it does have an extra year of warranty, so $950 would be enough to eliminate most of the "arbitrage").
Without being explicit, the "women's" colors are available in only 38mm. Unisex colors are available in both sizes. The Cuff is aimed at men, and so is 42mm only. Why some colors only in one size? Talking about diversity...
Well, at least Apple hopes someone will buy them. Certainly, if nothing else, it helps continue the AW fashion narrative. My guess is the markup on these is so eye-popping huge, and production relatively low, it's not a big $ gamble on Apple's part. Even if they are slow sellers it's "cheap" eye candy PR if they are conspiculosly showcased in Hermes stores.
I appreciate such a sobering warning. Although neither of us gained anything monetarily from our families, I definitely credit them with moving out west to where the opportunities were easier to find, and the two of us pretty much earned this lifestyle together. But things can change in an instant!
Well, the MacBook hardware in general is superior in build quality to a lot of the competition. But just to 'look cool'... hahaha.

Ostrich and exclusivity. I get it. Too exclusive for me. I don't want to cry when it gets scratched. The way my luck works, that would happen within the first few days...
$340 is a steal for an Hermès band.Hermes and Apple. 2 companies getting away with exorbitant prices.
You are ignorant if you think some $50 knockoff can lay a candle to the Hermès.I already think regular Apple Watch bands are to expensive, but why in the world are these so expensive. I can get the same stuff off Amazon for $50.

I must be the only idiot in the world who wouldn't pay $340 for a watch band.
I guess you don't pay a $5000 for watch either?
Nope but I know a couple people at the office who would. Its funny I buy a new iPhone once a year and they give me **** but then they have watches on that cost thousands of dollars and all they do is tell they time and maybe have the date. But yeah guess I'm just poor.

How do you feel about engagement/wedding rings?
How do you feel about engagement/wedding rings?
SO who's to judge?
a wedding ring gives you a lot more auxiliary benefits than a watch, on the whole...
So the lady with bigger wrists or the guy with smaller wrists can't buy the watch with the band color of their choice.Without being explicit, the "women's" colors are available in only 38mm. Unisex colors are available in both sizes. The Cuff is aimed at men, and so is 42mm only.
