Yes it is back in my Achievements. Not sure why I had it early and then it went away but looks like it is on.

I have it now too. It was not there yesterday (Wednesday), but it is this morning: "Défi des parcs nationaux."

Since I run at least 6 miles with a group every Saturday morning, I'm covered.

Are you running iOS 11 beta or the watch OS beta? I recall that someone running the wOS beta had an extra monthly challenge in addition to the daily move challenge.
I'm running iOS 11 DP3 with Watch OS 3.2.2.

I have the National Park Challenge, but nothing else unusual, just the standard Perfect Month trophy.

iOS 11 & wOS 3.2

There is a Notification on the Achievements tab now.

Thanks all. I've had my watch on for an hour this morning and still no pop up. Not sure what's going on.

I see the challenge in the Activity app on my iPhone, but I never got a popup for it on my Apple Watch. I've been wearing my watch for 5 hours so far today.

My girlfriend got the little blue dot next to the activity app within 20 minutes of putting her watch on. I'm approaching 2 hours and nothing. No dot, no medal in achievements. Hmm.

Very curious. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and noticed a red notification badge on my iPhone, alerting me to the challenge. That's all I've seen. Hope you get it squared away soon!

Sounds like it has to be one. Says a 3.5 mile workout.

I was wondering the same thing. I was also wondering if it has to be at least 3.5 miles or exactly 3.5 miles? What if I go for a hike with the family and start an Open walking workout and we hike for 4 miles? Will that count, or do you have to create a workout of exactly 3.5 miles and complete it?

I'm going to guess that the safest thing to do is create a walk/run/wheelchair workout of exactly 3.5 miles since Apple has stressed the symbolism of that distance. (The distance matches the length of a hike from Old Faithful to Mallard Lake in Yellowstone National Park.) Don't want to end up in the lake!

BTW, I highly recommend downloading the full set of badge images here: https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2017/06/apple-celebrates-americas-national-parks-this-july/

The designs are beautiful enough to print and display (or at least make watch faces out of them). The photo at the top of this page is from Diablo Lake, about an hour and a half from where I live.

Anything over 3.5 miles will still count. I did a 2 mile walk for Mother's day, no issue.

I just received the notification and I'm from Italy so this time is worldwide.
As far as I understand you have to run or walk for at least 3.5miles (5.6km) on a single workout. I think that pausing and resuming a single workout still counts, so if you walk for a couple of miles, then have lunch, then go back to were you started should let you achieve the goal.

I'm not saying that this isn't true, but I recall the Thanksgiving Day challenge last year also said that any app that records to Health would get you the acheivement, but then it didn't ... at least for many/most people.

I ran 4+ miles in the morning using NRC and didn't get the achievement. Had to walk on the treadmill at 10pm that night using the workout app to get my stickers.

I wonder if they solved that bug with one of the latest iOS releases.
They say that every app compatible with Health is ok so they need to make it possible to use third party apps

Just one more question friends.
Yes I’m in Asia, Cambodia - can I walk on 15th local time (faster than US time) and get the achievement?
Or must I wait till US time (later than 15th in my local time)?
Thank you very much,

It depends on the local time. You have to complete the goal during July the 15th so you'll get the badge before your american friends :)
